Product Rating Product Review It was in tune when I took it out of the case. Hasn't needed anything other than some slight tweaks since I got it. Plays as good as any Strat I have or have had, and the roller nut helps it stay in tune. The Noiseless pickups sound good, maybe not as chimey as a Texas Special, but they still make the required Strat sounds.

Product Review This is the best sounding and best feeling Fender strat I have ever played! The fretboard is way beyond heaven to play and is like playing a history lesson!! You will feel as though you are with Jeff Beck as you play with articulation and feeling with this well crafted instrument!! This guitar smells like heaven when you open the case! The color is beautiful and the finish is beyond perfect! The neck is the best neck ever and is the perfect playing experience!! I love this guitar more than any of the many guitars I have bought in the last 8 years!!! American Musical Supply is the best company to purchase the best gear from!!

Product Review I’ve built and owned numerous Stratocaster guitars through out the years and have always wanted to try the JB model, not only for the overall build and tonal qualities, but also for the LSR nut on the neck, and it didn’t let me down! The tuning stability is remarkably improved over the regular bone nut and string tree setup! This guitar was perfect right out of the box! The Fender folks did a fantastic job for a production model, kudos guys!! I own 7 Strats and she’s my go to guitar daily! Great tone, quality workmanship and awesome pricing make this guitar very desirable and fairly easy to afford! Gary M.

Product Review This guitar looks slick with contrast of the finish with the pick guard and tone knobs. The bridge is floating and allows for some creative space. The locking tuners are fabulous, allowing easy string change and this is one of the first guitars I have owned after using the tremolo system quite a bit that retuning is minimal, if at all. The noiseless pickups are so smooth and the fretboard plays like butter! An awesome tweed case too!

Product Review I bought this guitar for my niece for Christmas. Today I brought her a new amplifier to play it on. I plugged in the chord and started to play. In first and second position it sounded good. I put it in third position... No sound. I switched to fourth and fifth position and they worked. Back to Third. No go. I looked at my niece who absolutely loves this guitar and she looked so disappointed. I'm extremely disappointed. This was a fairly expensive purchase. And I still owe just over a Thousand dollars on it. So I'm sure you understand why I am not happy with my purchase. I am going to call your customer service line tomorrow. To voice my complaint. I live in Washington and do not want to go threw the hassle of sending it back for repair. Signed. Not Happy Way out West.

Product Review Just received this shipment from AMS in two days like clockwork. I think I like this better than any strat I've owned, and I've had quite a few thru the years. The fit and feel of the neck is flawless. The Surf Green finish has to be seen in person to be appreciated. There is really no way to do it justice with the online pics. Very cool vintage tweed G & G case with neat Fender strap, cord, owner's manual and strap locks. Love that case candy. The custom voiced noiseless pickups are amazing. They're wound a little hotter than the standard Fender Noiseless pickups and this is very evident in the bridge pickup. Works well for me. I play in a variety 60's thru present day cover band and I mostly play thru the clean channel with a tube screamer engaged, or my high gain channel for certain tunes. The noiseless pickups take well to amp gain and effects. The Jeff Beck model is most definitely a good fit for me, and AMS as always has come thru with outstanding service.

Product Review The Jeff Beck Strat is one of the nicest guitars I’ve ever played. This is a top quality, ultra high end player. The maple neck and rosewood fingerboard simply purrs. The c shape neck is instantly comfortable even if you’re used to thicker necks or wizard necks. Everything is top quality; high end schaller locking tuners. Two point modern trem, and AMAZING sounding pickups!!! You can plug this guitar straight into an amp with no pedals and she sings. Sounds like liquid gold. Not to mention how beautiful she looks! Classic and timeless. Comes with a vintage style tweed Hardshell case w/ gold velvet lining. Rockstar looks. I can’t stop playing this guitar!!!

Product Review Never been a Strat guy. Made a believer outta me. Can't put it down. LSR / 2 point Trem provides unbelievable tuning stability!! Ceramic mags in the vintage pickups are excellent and extremely versatile. Classic bell and chime , Hendrix, Vaughn to Nice overdriven tones in the bridge position. Got an American standard back in 08 never really play it much. Get it out when I need it. But this one, hmm something about it. Takes a few to get used to the radius, if your not a strat player. After that it's pure addiction.

Product Review AMS Is by far the only musical supply company you should even consider shopping with. Not only outstanding service but the items they sell are mint condition and the highest quality. This Jeff Beck Fender Strat was perfect I did change the Brushed chrome to polished chrome locking tuners I felt the represented the quality of the guitar better for me. The electronics are amazing the noiseless pickups are smooth and to the point. This guitar covers every style of music you choose to play. It has that beautiful bell sound that only Stratocasters are known for. Fender has out down themselves here. You will not be disappointed by purchasing this guitar nor will you ever be disappointed by the service you receive from American Music Supply. By far #1 in my book!

Product Review Great, I find the tone and responsiveness of this guitar just plain stellar! Quality is excellent, love the Olympic White color, but there are some faint ridges in the finish which I would expect to better for a guitar in this price range, but it plays so well, I don't want to chance replacing it. I DO suggest AMS closely inspect these instruments of this caliber better when they receive them, Fender can do better! I find the guitar very versatile, but not for straight jazz. On blues, rock, and funk, it really sings. The neck is a little wider than the Mexico Strat I've been using. This is great for playing blues and Hendrix style playing. The controls cannot get any handier on a Strat. It took me a few minutes to appreciate the Noiseless pickups. I have Carvin pickups and guts in my other Strat which are a bit hotter, but I have actually come to prefer them (that took whole two days!), finding them very responsive to the volume and tone controls. They are VERY QUIET, even in high gain conditions. This guitar is definitely bright and snappy, which I expected and looked for in the Beck model. A few adjustments to my amp gain and tone controls and I am in music heaven! I described this in the Quality section. The color is gorgeous. I got exactly what I was looking for in sound and playability, the little details tended to in this guitar really make a difference. It is difficult to compare Strats to other models, they are just a different animal altogether. But, among Strats, I liked this one much better than the American Deluxe models I tried. It may sound a little weird, but this guitar seems to anticipate what I am playing, like it is one step ahead of me. That makes for some inspired playing. At first I thought the action was a little high, but when I put my D'Addario XL110s on, it felt perfect. The factory strings were just too thin for my taste.

Well made is an understatement. This guitar kills anything from the custom shop and believe me I've had many custom shop strats. It's to new but compared to my other pre CBS strats this should hold up fine. Your general opinion of this product. I love the way it looks as I bought mine in White and with the new appointments I love it. The only problem is the neck is to thin. Better then the 1st one with the baseball neck but on the thin side for me. The controls are like any other strat so no big deal getting used to them. The tone is what made me chose this over the Clapton model although I like the Clapton neck better. Nice and bright with a cool shimmer to it. The paint job is imaculate and with the rosewood neck looks very cool. Action was to low for me out of the box so again I had to raise it for a nice high action. The trem works great better and faster to change strings then a Floyd which I will never use. The whole package is so much better then the 1st version Fender made for Jeff. From the pups to the colors and the tuners.

this is a quality made guitar & i put it right up there with my American made G&L's. i've only had this guitar for a few weeks, however, i'm sure it's gonna last me a long time. Your general opinion of this product. this guitar was set up & played great out the the case. it's got great tone & sustain. i haven't quit playing it since i got it. just the right weight, the neck is not to thin or thick. just right with a silky feel so you can move around easily all over the neck. great on the 1 position nice & thick for blues on the 5 position it's all good. the action outta the box was just like i like it.
