Product Rating Product Review This bass is simply amazing in every way. The build quality and finishing is outstanding, with great attention to detail. It was setup perfectly when it arrived, and was even perfectly in tune. The neck is comfortable and smooth, and feels like it's been played for decades. Even though this bass has been "reliced" from the factory and is "new", it feels like you would expect an old bass to feel. This bass feels amazing to hold and play, and I was actually surprised at how light it weighs. Very comfortable, and fits great when using a strap. The tones you can get are the unmistakable classic Fender Precision tones. Totally perfect. I've owned at least 20 basses over the years, many of them considered "high end" basses. This one is easily in the top 3 of favorites.

Product Review I picked up this bad boy last March of 2017 been over year what can I say ...this bass has not let me down I gig at least 3 times a month and it never fails for type of styles of music I play. But I would upgrade the case to better gig bag I would suggest Mono gig bag they will protect your bass.

Product Review I was going to get the American P Bass but had other gear to buy. I needed to cut corners and save $$. Thought I’d might be cutting corners on quality but when I got the MIM P-Bass Road Worn, that was not the case! Put some flatwounds, plugged into my Fender Rumble and I was Floored by the tone! The feel!! The looks and the compliments from the band mates, audience and sound guy!! No regrets!!!

Product Review The bass is great, just wish I would've read the specs more carefully. I went more with the photo, it looks like a worn out white pick guard, but over all it's a keeper. Thx again!

Product Review After owning a handful of vintage P basses, I wanted something I didn't have to worry about for fly dates and trailer gigs. THIS IS IT! These are a hidden gem. The wear and finish are tastefully relic'ed, and the neck is among the most comfortable I've played. I was planning to do a handful of mods (new nut, pickup, bridge, etc), but it was shockingly great out of the box - so I didn't change a thing.

Product Review This was a great surprise as a gift from my wife; she knew that i had been eyeing it for some time. The road worn is not severe or overdone as if a gorilla had played it. The relicing is appropriate the worn finish has a wonderful wood look and it glows with warmth. The chunky neck feels very comfortable and broken in very smooth. The pickups are very well defined and powerful the tone tapers consistently for bright and very dark. As usual i did some adjustments to the height of the pickups for my own personal taste, intonation was on the spot. Overall the bass is very light and feels like an old friend in your hands.

Can't believe its made in mexico! Very well built, seems just as good as any american Fender I've played. Its a P bass, featers? volume and tone knobs. They work well though. The gig bag is a joke! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY A HARD SHELL CASE! Fender should include 1 for the price, not this cheap lil piece of crap. The sound is pure vintage p bass, but with alittle adjustment on your amp and tone knob it will fit in all types of music,I play rock, motown, country, metal and goth and it fits in them all. I did put some flat wound strings on it though.thats just my sound, but the factory strings do sound very good. Very light for a bass, the neck on mine is alittle thick which I like,it does feel sticky though, hope it wares in fast.Other wise it feels like it was made just for me, Its now my go to bass, haven't put it down since I got it a mounth ago. And that says alot for me. What ever you want, see above. Looks used and abused just like it says, kinda cool. Action was was good, really shocked that I didn't have to do anything to it.

I thought Mexican Fenders were supposed to be up to American standards now. Not even close!!! P-Basses have no features, that the beauty of them... Two knobs and that's it! Great... Can you say horrible. Not only was the neck bowed and the string spacing way off, but the tuners were so tight they have only loosened a small amount even after greasing them... Great... As promised... The neck had a terrible bow - cost me a $100 set-up to straighten this baby out...

The Brand New Road Worn Warrior

It is a very well built bass. Felt solid and was the only bass I could borrow and retune for a last second gig. I threw 105 to .45 on it and drop tuned to drop C with out so much as an out of place click.... Truly remarkable when you think about what one normally has to do to make a bass deal with heavy drop tuning. I love no features on a bass. Normally ripping all the knobs off the bass and rewire for all on all the time. The only thing I would prefer is if they took out the stupid tone knob and replaced it with a kill switch. The sound is pure P. Just the way I like it. Normally playing a thunderbird. I was very happy with the growl and decent amount of high end cut that you can get out of single pick up. Right of of the box, this is what you love about the P. It is a fast broken in feeling neck with all the warmth of a bass that has been played for years... and that single owner smell. Dark and smooth, with bright over tones when you grind on it with a pick. There is no other bass played by more people... has to be a reason! The finish on the one I got to play looked great. It was like a time capsule of a bass. Something of a mystery from eye to hand; when I looked at the bass to see a relic but know I was playing some brand new. Kinda like Clear Pepsi... only not in a bad way. You open the box and it feels like the bass you played when you were a kid and you played your first real bass.
