This is a fantastic guitar. It’s so easy to play and feels great in your hands. You don’t need to be a fan of the Strokes to want this guitar, but who doesn’t like the Strokes?

I have always loved 1970’s Fenders. My first Strat and Tele’s were 1973s. There were some problems with the build quality but they did have a dynamic sound and I loved them.
The Albert Hammond jr. Strat is a beauty of a guitar. Fender has taken the basis of the 70s Strat and improved on it greatly. The large headstock is beautiful. The 3 bolt neck hold the tuning perfectly. The pickups are wonderful and have a terrific tone. Clean or dirty they really rock. In some guitars the 7.25 radius neck can be a problem as it frets out with low action but not here. No problem bending with a low action. The switching is interesting. You get a neck/bridge combination that’s very sweet. Once you get used to the switch being a bit different it’s not a problem. There is no trem arm. The bridge is locked down so if you want to use it, it needs to be set up.
The neck on my guitar has a beautiful flame on the back and the rosewood fingerboard is gorgeous.
This is a quality guitar.
