I bought this bass just for a house bass as I am not much of a player-and because I drive a jaguar of the same color. I almost ordered fralin pickups and electronics as well as a bridge, but really this bass sounds fine for classic tones out of box. Great fit and finish, fretwork etc-and stays in tune well. I think with a little rolling of the fingerboard and a good setup this will do quite nicely.
