Tuners slip and pickup height is only somewhat adjustable ?? these problems could and should have been corrected at factory even if it was a Mexican Fender this is unacceptable to me!

Great playing guitar, has nice tone (it is a fender!) set up was great out of the box, it’s Mexican made but would make a great work horse without breaking the bank! Don’t be scared you get your money’s worth!

It has a very wide range of sound I can get out of it. Really great for adding to all recordings I’ve done. At the end of the day it’s about the audio quality and playability for me. This does exactly what I need and I’d imagine it will for you too.

This bass a more than I ever expected. It sounds fabulous.
The over all finish is beautiful. The frets near the bottom of the neck are slightly edgy. no big deal. I'm just going to get a guitar tech in my area to sand them down a little. I own a couple of squires and they are nice, however the extra money that I paid to move up to the fender player series jazz bass is well worth it.

Very fine bass at the price point. I own several other jazz basses and a couple of Ibanez 5 strings. This bass blows them all out of the water. The craftsmenship is superb, all it needed was a little string height setup to preference and it was good to go. The new Pau Ferro fingerboards are excellent if not a little bit lighter in color than the usual rosewood.
