Fender did a great job in recreating a classic bass. The sound is punchy, big and warm. I put the flatwounds on this bass & you feel and hear the vintage sound!! I like the bridge cover with the string mute, really makes a great sound! I'm very impressed with this bass. From the vintage style case, to the case candy goodies, I'm so glad I pulled the trigger and got this bass. Setup was great out of the box. The action was perfect for me & the neck is fun to play on. If you're looking at these basses, grab one!!

The Fender Sound is Alive and Well! The 63 Precision gives me an "Old School" vibe and is the perfect compliment to my Gibson Midtown. Both from AMS! From Jazz to Funk all the bases are covered.
