Product Rating Product Review Wow... this is a fantastic sounding bass. I'm getting a great strong signal. Lots of bite when I want... or nice and round if I need it. Tunes great. Solid neck. I'm a novice so I have grip trouble still... but my hand feels pretty comfortable on this when I'm in the groove. Great build. This is my second purchased bass guitar. I'm very happy I made the upgrade. Worth every penny.

Product Review I've played bass for around 25 years and this one so far is tops! My initial reaction is how much lighter and sleeker Fender has made the Precision. I have some Fender original 60's in another bass and just love those pickups. This American Standard comes with the Custom Shop 60's which are very punchy and rumble, yet you hear every single note. I'm able to cut through a mix with this bass. Add in the new high mass bridge with the option to string through the body and you have a bass that will sustain for days! Great job Fender!

Product Review I ordered myself a "Fender American Standard Precision Bass" rosewood fingerboard, black w/case. It being a so called "Dent & Scratch" I did not no what to expect of my purchase, with that being said I couldn't be happier! I did not find one mark or the slightest scratch of any kind! While saving over $300! With full Warranty Thanks AMS!!!

Product Review Just recently got my P and boy oh boy is this thing BAAADDD! The tone, the looks the playability. Fist things first, I got a American Active Deluxe which was a visually stunning piece of equipment but just was not the tone I was looking for. So, I tried one of these American Standard P's. Glad I did! Personally, I like the feel of the P necks better than the J necks. The fingerboard on the P has the rolled edges which is a real nice feature. Normally when I get a new bass I have to go through a list of tweaks to get it to my liking, however, with this P I simply took it out of the case, examined it and felt there were no tweaks needed. Top notch quality. I'm excited to be the proud owner of a piece of musical history. Features are exactly what I was expecting, top notch! The case was a nice bonus feature. Neck has the rolled edges, which is something I have never experienced until this P, which makes a huge difference in playability. I have bigger hands, so, I really like the feel of the P necks For only having a master volume and tone control, this thing has a considerably wide range of tones from bright and punchy to dark and sizzling. Love the tone Mine is the 3 tone sunburst, which, in my opinion is one of the best looking color schemes available. Considering the price of the American Active Deluxe J which I simply was not too huge of a fan of the tone compared to this, which I am a huge fan of the tone, I'd say I got what I was expecting. Really didn't have to do any adjusting right from the box, which is something that happens very rarely.

Product Review High quality P-Bass From the tuners to the included case, Outstanding. Graphite stiffened neck, Custom Shop PU, and the pure simplicity of a P-Bass. Neck is silky smooth. Body super comfy. Overall weight, light for a P-Bass. Custom Shop PU has great full, clear, smooth tone. Thick and mellow when played in front. Treble and bright played behind PU. Volume and tone controls very responsive to tweaking. Satiny smooth neck and awesome gloss burst body. The Piece match on the body is seamless. Looks like one piece. If you want a P-Bass and can justify the price for an American made instrument. This is great buy. The quality components and craftsmanship are top notch plus you get super nice case included. The set up out of the box was very good and perfectly playable as is. I tweaked it to my taste. The neck relief was perfect.
