Product Review This bass is very well built and heavy duty, came out of the box with low action and sounding good. I plan to upgrade the bridge and swap the pickups for Seymour Duncan's. Not crazy about the stock B string, it's a bit loose.

Product Review Where has this bass guitar been all of my music career? Straight out of the box I fell in love with the craftsmanship. The white body glossy paint and the glossy clear coat on the maple neck and fretboard that also sounds amazing straight out of the box. Right out of the box I tuned it up and was amazed by how great this bass sounded and felt in my hands. Then I adjusted the truss rod and the sattle retuned to my playing style and it sounded and felt even better. I will definitely recommend this bass to any and everyone! Best price hands down. This is the bass to get!

Product Review It looks and sounds fantastic. If it weren’t for the bland looking string tree, I’d assume that it was a much more expensive instrument. Mine arrived with some minor corrosion on the frets, which I fixed when I swapped out the strings, but really a nice instrument for below $400. Amazing.

Product Review I've been playing bass for 10 years and I must say that this is one of, if not, the best sounding bass I've owned. The tone, the playability and the craftmenship is far beyond the price of this bass. I've played several american made jazz fenders as well as mexican made and this squier hands down ranks with the best of them. The neck on this bass feels great and I love the spacing of the strings. Some say the bass is a little heavy but I'm used to playing 6 strings basses with weight and wide necks so this bass is really easy and comfortable to handle for me. I own a warwick fna jazzman that's literally 10 times the price of this squier and aside from the fact that the warwick is an active bass, the squier can easily hang with it tone wise. Because it's a passive bass I have to crank my amp a little more to get the output I need when playing with my band. My band members are really impressed with this bass!!! I am planning on upgrading the bass with a preamp just because I'm used to active basses but trust me this bass sounds great as it is. I was considering purchasing an American fender deluxe jazz bass but after hearing this one I doubt that I would consider buying one now. I'm amazed at the price difference when this bass sounds as good, if not better than the American made fender!! Buy this bass!!! The best sleeper on the market!!! Thanks american musical, you guys have always been awesome!!! Oh yea...This bass is also gorgeous, beautiful finish!!!

Product Review I use this base in a metal band(along the lines of Memphis May Fire) and I beat this thing up. I have a bad habit of breaking basses on stage from hitting them at certain parts of songs. My first bass only lasted 3 shows, this one has been with me for a few months now and has taken every bit of abuse from me like a champ. I love how lite it is, and the stock pickups sound great.

Product Review From reading the various reviews from many sources I figured this is a solid bass. I would say, it's got "good bones". It is good just as it comes, but will likely need a set up, and some minor fret work to improve especially the upper register, above the 12th fret. If you are a novice, that may not be of much concern, because that range is usually only used for an occasional chord, or in a solo. My bass took a bit of fret leveling to make it play correctly, but was well worth the money, because now the bass will stand shoulder to shoulder with the other excellent Jazz Vs out there. This is an amazing bass for the money.

Product Review First off I just want to say how impressed I was with how easily and quickly this bass was purchased and delivered. I ordered the bass with the 3 Easy Payment option on Thursday afternoon and it arrived at my house within 24 hours of placing the order with fedex ground delivery. This was my first purchase with AMS and I can assure that it will not be my last. Now for the bass... I ordered the Olympic White finish and this bass not only looks 100 times better in person, but the quality of build and tone is outstanding for the value. I was skeptical of the Squier name, but not anymore. This bass holds up very well for it's value. It looks great and sounds better than what I had expected. My favorite thing about this bass would have to be the stunning finish and glossy neck. It's a bit heavy, but it is a 5 string Jazz bass. The neck is surprisgly fast and easy to play. The controls are all very simple. 2 knobs for each pickup and 1 master tone knob. You can dial in any tone with this bass. I am using it mainly for metal/djent/rock, but I have no doubts that an experienced bassist can dial in any tone. Again, the paint job and finish looks amazing. I don't know too much about basses, I am a guitarist first, but this bass is great. If you're beginning or just want to have a backup bass for gigs or recording you won't be disappointed. Lastly, I can't believe how great this bass played right out of the box. The action and intonation were set up perfectly.
