Picked up the natural finish version, at first sight it just looks fantastic. I’ve purchased a couple of the CV (jag and jazzmaster), just really impressed how much Squier is stepping up their quality especially at this price point. Blindfolded you’d be hard pressed to think you were playing a MIM or better. Has great weight, feels solid and they didn’t cut corners on the hardware. Others have dinged a star for the pickups which are a little thin, I didn’t because I fully intended on replacing them anyway, let’s face it at this price I wasn’t expecting the pickups to be all that great, the rest of the guitar was my interest. They are definitely playable, will require some tweaking on the treble. Other than that really at great guitar for the money.

The delivery of the guitar was very quick. The condition of the guitar was very well. The box was virtually in perfect condition despite having been overseas. I've had it for a month now and there has been no problems with it. It plays as expected and its been very good.

I really love the classic aesthetics of this guitar. From the slim body to the style of the neck. I especially love the feel of the smaller neck, as it allows me to have more control. The pickups offer really nice tones, from warmer tame sounds to a brighter twang. For the price, this guitar is an amazing instrument!

I ordered this guitar really not knowing what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised! There is nothing I would change about it, the alnico pups are crisp and vibrant, the fretboard is smooth and warm, bone nut, and the tuners stay in tune!! This guitar has the feel and sound of much much more expensive strats. Can’t go wrong with this one!

The Fender designed alnico pickups are packed with authentic Stratocaster tone! The nickel hardware looks as good as it feels. The vintage tuners are much better than I expected. The bone nut is another great feature.
I was a little unsure about the Indian laurel fretboard until I played it. WOW! This guitar is jam-packed with special features that will make any level of player super happy. I have only had it a few days, but I have not played any of my other guitars since it arrived. I am more than satisfied with all aspects of this guitar. The fit and finish are superb. it was set up really well right out of the box. If I HAD to pick something I was not happy with, it would be the sharp fret ends which took me less than 10 minutes to correct. This guitar plays even better than it looks! Squier knocked it out of the park with this model. If you are considering buying one of these... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
