I don't know if its luck, or if Squier has stepped up their quality control, but the last few I have purchased have all been great. This guitar was well packed and well built. Weight is solid and plays great out of the box. It's getting harder to justify the price tag on some of the Fender models these days when the Squier guitars have been so good.

It's just about as good as a player series Fender.

This guitar is great. Only thing I did was replace the strings. Tunes and hold tuning. I like the black color. No fancy pick guard. Love it.This replaced a Fender Strat. I had which had an ugly cream color pick guard. This is well worth the money. Had this guitar for only a week and met my expectation. Matches my other two black guitars.

One best guitars I've ever bought for the buck when I unboxed i put a quick setup on lowers action set intonation frets were level guitar played very good and when i connected to my amp and pedalboard I was really surprised at the sound from the pickups they sound really good with distortion and high gain for the price mine is a five star guitar totally satisfied if you blind folded me and let me play it I never would probably guessed what I was playing a squire.Guitar is well built and sounds very good

Product Review
Look I really do hate writing a bad review but I have to be honest. I don't expect a $349.00 guitar to sound and play like a high end Fender, having said that I do expect to be able to tune and intimate said guitar. The saddle screws on two saddles were froze, frozen so much that even with lube they would not turn. I looked up the price on this bridge...$19.95 for the complete bridge. I will buy needed parts to set it up correctly. I thought about returning it but I had already returned 1 guitar, a Taylor, I don't want to get into the habit of doing that. The amp I got with it is awesome, Peavey VIP 2, sweet amp. I advise in buying gear that you buy more expensive gear that what I did. This Squire classic Vibe 70 is just a handful of trouble. Buy higher end gear than this.

The HSS makes it louder and deeper

Product Review
This guitar taught me something new about guitars because of the HSS. It is really pleasant in how it’s louder and deeper. It makes long jamming really relaxing because I love to feel the music in my bones as much as I’m hearing it and feeling it in my ears. Getting lost in sound. I think it also makes a great band guitar as well as for recording songs that need more presence in sound.

I Just Got This Squier Classic Vibe 70's electric guitar today and it came quicker than I thought thanks to American musical supply's fast shipping. The neck feels great and is smooth to the hand going up and down and the action is spot on. Right out of the box it was fine just had to lower 3 of the six saddles. The pickups sound fantastic on it and appear to be the alnico V, not sure though. It's got that fender sound and tone that you pick up on right away and will be my go to guitar for years to come, sounds better and plays better than fender Mexican strats. Get this guitar before the price goes up.
