I am the original owner of a '67 Fender Mustang which I gifted to my daughter for Christmas. I wanted her to have a nice hardshell case to keep it in, and the black Fender case was the only one I found that would fit. The case displayed on the AMS website clearly shows an interior storage compartment. The one I received has no interior storeage. The clasps on the case are very cheap, and when you open the case the hinges pop and seem very "rickety". As a light duty case, it will protect your guitar, but I have serious doubts that this case would withstand the rigors of a gigging musician. For the price I would rate this case near the bottom of the barrel.
