Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? I have two of these guitars.I own the maple necked "50's" road worn strat and I recently picked up an "Olympic white" 60's road worn. The 50's version is meant to evoke a 54' or 56' instrument with the two tone brown 50's sunburst and the "soft" V maple neck. The white 60's road worn is an obvious tribute to the 1962 model. Both of the Road worn strats I own are stunning looking, much better live than in even the best photos - like on AMS web site. And they play, when set up to, like high end even like custom shop guitars. I have been totally impressed with these guitars. If they have a weakness, in my opinion its the pickups. I was a little disappointed with the Tex Mex set, if only because so many people have raved about them and their good value.I will say they probably are a good value, but the sound leaves me a little flat. However, I understand they are meant mainly for hi gain, split channel,mid-price tube amps, players who rely on pedals and modeling amps.

What is your opinion of this product? FedEx dropped this guitar off on a thursday, I had it set up on Friday, and used it for it's first show that Saturday night. This thing looks and sounds amazing! The relicing is done just right... Not too much... Pick guard looks way better than that on the older road worn stratocasters... This is my new #1. A stunning instrument, and well worth the price!
