Product Review I bought this amplifier (head version) mostly due to YouTube demos. In. my honest opinion, the Youtube demos do it no justice. First, the clean channel is as good as the '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. It makes sense that it would be, as that is the platform that this amp was built upon. It can get unbelievably loud, with a ton of character. The Fat Switch can work as a gain boost for cleans, or it can be used as a more Bassman flavored clean sound. The true Fender clean is in this amp, and it seems to take longer to get to breakup than the Deluxe Reverb does, which is great, because it has the Burn Channel. Next, the Burn Channel. I think this is the best drive channel in Fender's entire lineup, and it may be the best American two channel amplifier for anyone who play Blues, Country, and Rock. It has an incredible range of gain, and with the two gains, it can even add quite a bit of compression if that is what you are after. With the right boost, it will get to metal, and it absolutely wails with a Treble Booster in front. I paired mine with a WGS Et-65 speaker, and play it in Stereo with my much more expensive Fuchs BlackJack 21 Mk2, and it is really remarkable how alike those two amplifiers sound. I use them to switch between a Dumble type sound, and kick on a treble booster to get a Brian Mayesque heavy Classic Rock sound. I can go from Stevie to Brad Paisley, to Brian May, with just the volume knob on the guitar, the channel switch, and one boost pedal. If I could only play this amplifier for the rest of my life, I would be perfectly content. Add that playing experience to the wonderful customer service at American Musical Supply, and you have the perfect gear purchase. 10/10 would recommend, and will buy again!

Product Review Wow! The clean channel is based off of the Fender Deluxe design and it delivers, but the burn channel is where this amp really shines! Even at low volume the break up is fantastic and has a nice warm crunch. I no longer need specialty pedals for overdrive and can control it all with guitar volume. And the TONE of the overdrive is second to none! If you are a Fender amp fan, this is the amp for you! If you have shied away from Fender amps because they are 'too clean' then this is the amp to get dirty with!

Your general opinion of this product. Overall, I'm very impressed. Love the '61 Blonde/Oxblood color even if it doesn't match my cabs. It's really striking. Fender did not scrimp on the details. The quality is up there with the best. We'll have to see on dependability. But, I expect it to perform without issue until it needs tubes. Simple and straight forward. Love having 2 gain circuits on the Burn channel. The supplied 4 button foot switch could survive the apocalypse. The vintage channel is pure sparkle. Hit the Fat button and it scoops the mids for that classic Fender "spank". The Burn channel seems to have no end to different tone options. I haven't even scratched the surface of this thing yet because every sound I dial in, I love to use it for a while before exploring on. Classic Rock to Heavy Metal. I personally like dialing in a LO-FI Fuzz setting. Plays blues extremely well. And it doesn't matter what pick ups you use or what you have your guitar tone set to. It seems to adapt to the guitar instead of the other way around. Every note clear as a bell. It turned on. Cool vintage jewel power on light. Beautiful. The '61 Blonde/Oxblood is beautiful but, it's not for everyone. Time will tell.

This head delivers! It's so thick sounding you may have to dial it down a bit!

Your general opinion of this product. This head sounds like a modern version of a 67 Bassman on the vintage channel. The burn channel is so versatile I can use it for almost all of my needs when I am not using my Marshall JCM200 head. Sometimes I don't need 100 watts and this thing sings overdrive and saturated distortion! You can't lose! Very well made. No problems at all and the foot switch is heavy duty just how I like it! Very easy to dial in quickly for quick changes Thick unrelenting tone! Not sure yet. Only had it a week.
