Product Review I just received this amp and playing through it brings a smile to my face every time. I can’t see one con in this amp. It is everything I need and more. It is warm and inspiring to play. I can get great overdrive tones or great clean tones. The reverb can’t be beat. It’s expensive, but you really do get what you pay for and I have no regrets. It can hang with a band and also can be played quietly at home. Also, shout out to AMS for great customer service and quick shipping.

Product Review The amp sounds great. Very sweet, sometimes piercing high end, and gobs of bass. The included speaker is fine, no complaints. But the amp seems to open up more with a 12” speaker. It takes pedals well, it sounds great alone, beautiful reverb, fun tremolo effect, what else do you want from a Fender amp? I guess an effects loop would be nice, but this is a reissue type thingie. Four thumbs up. You agree with my review, so you’re letting me borrow your thumbs for the rating. Thank you.

Product Review For those that know, not much to say. For those who don't know, all other non blackface amps could only hope to be this good. For all you modelers...I built models as a kid, that's all they are, models, not the real deal. Get over it. If you want the cleanest, sweet tones & know how to use a guitar & amp, this is all anyone would every need unless maybe you like hack metal noise. AMS & Adam killed it, got a deal on 'open box' but would have to say it looked like only the box was opened...came as new, perfect & not a smudge on it!

Product Review This amp is everything I hoped it would be. The quality and tone is every bit as good as the original ‘65 Princeton Reverb. The onboard spring reverb and tremolo are so nice to have on an amp. I play this with no effects and the clean tone is exactly what I want. If your looking for a versatile in home or playing a club amp, this fills the bill. Not to mention it’s a superior amp for your recording needs. I love this amp !

Product Review I have a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul that have a sound of their own. With this 65 Fender Princeton Reverb I wanted a sound that's very bright and jangly, in other words were I could get that Fender mid range to push up to a high grainy sound with the Fender Telecaster. I could drive up the sound of the Fender Princeton and max out to a pleasurable tone! In the case of the Gibson Les Paul which has humbuckers it was quick to push up and distort and really have that fat distorted, overdriving sound. I knew this 65 Fender Princeton could and it came through with the sound I wanted. I love it!!

Product Review I owned a vintage 1968 Princeton Reverb for years and after the right choice but f tubes and few mods it was really a fine sounding amp. Sadly I had to sell it but when I did I vowed that I'd replace it at some point with the 65 Reissue. Now that I have that amp, purchased at AMS, I'm so glad I made that promise to mysel. This amp sounds amazing in the best balckface style that's responsible for so many guitar tones that define rock, country, blues, surf and jazz. I upgraded the power tubes to NOS RCAs and now it's perfect. If you want the classic blackface sound in a convenient, portable package that can cut gigs in small to medium size venues, then this it! Buy one, you won't regret it.

Product Review I used to have a Deluxe Reverb, which sounds great if you can crank it to at least 4. This was great for playing out, but just too much volume at home. I purchased the Princeton Reverb and could not be happier. The amp allows me to run it at 4 at home for a nice full tube tone. The Reverb is of course lush spring reverb at 2-3 on the dial. The Vibrato is indeed the best I have ever heard. It is very subtle and musical to my ears. It is a very warm amp with the Vibrato on. Like many, I was worried about the 10 inch speaker. Don't be. First thing I did was put the volume on 6 and Bass on 10 - no flub. It sounded completely full! This amp will surprise you by filling the room with sound without piercing and running you out! I will never get rid of this amp!

Your general opinion of this product. this amp is absolutely incredible... no scratch that. that's an understatement. this baby can produce some beautiful and sparkly clean tones. turn up the reverb and tremolo and if you play the right notes, you can get such a haunting sound that you and everyone who hears it will get goosebumps. your hairs will stand up in awe as they hear the princeton reverb sing. fantastic. everything about this amp is made well... except the footswitch. i cant toggle the reverb and tremolo simultaneously or i get a very harsh pulsating sound coming from the amp. however if i use the reverb and tremolo simultaneously without the footswitch, no problem. fender seems hard to reach. they had me on hold for 20 minutes today, even though i was first in line... might have to get a 3rd party f/s someday, wont be able to gig without it 6 controls make it very easy to dial in a tone. the clean tones are wonderful. i run an mxr fullbore distortion and i can get a brootal metal tone if i desire. the amp's reverb and tremolo are killer. the small clone + neck pickup gives me an eric johnsonish type of tone. with my pedals (gcb95 wah, mxr fb, ehx small clone, mxr phase 90, tc electronics flashback) this amp can cover an array of genres. it takes them all very well. it's an amp, man. this amp is not only wonderful in terms of sound, but it's sexy. the sparkly silver grill is perfect for the sparkly tones it produces. i love the overall color scheme for it - black, silver and white. i've had it for two days and i'm already in love. i'm sure it's gonna last me a while with fender's 5 year warranty.

Your general opinion of this product. While it doesn't have the depth of tone of the Twin or Deluxe, this is a classic Fender amp with a great clean tone and amazingly lush reverb. Top of the line quality, everything feels solid and tight. The amp is very responsive, the 10 inch speaker has more tone than one might expect. Placement and volume both effect the tone, but overall it is full and smooth. NA The amp looks great. So far no issues, but I am not gigging with it.

"Little Tank"...solid. Quality all around. Solid. Straight forward. If you want effects, use a good pedal...and it will sing. Your general opinion of this product. Great sound-perfect size. I call it the little tube tank. Solid body...beautiful unique look. For the quality and what is inside...it is perfect. Can carry with no problem. You will not need coaster wheels. Very controlable, and of couse it depends on the ?QUALITY of your guitar or what ever you are instrument you have. That is an important factor. I have the black finish...Classic...great finish. Quality all around. All sides. I love the embroided "Fender" cover. Like a BMW. Smooth and worked perfectly.

It seems to be well made and I expect it to be very dependable over time. Only have had this a short time but my other Fender gear has been very reliable. Your general opinion of this product. A back to basics amp. Great for small clubs. Will work fine in larger venues if miked. Easy to haul around. A bit pricey. Easy to dial in. Six knobs: volume, treble, bass, reverb & vibrato speed & intensity. Set it and for get about it! Because of the low wattage you can crank up to find your sweet spot without the soundman kvetching about your being too loud. Has that cool Fender tube sound I recall from the original Princetons. I like the retro black face appearance. Never cared for the looks of the silver face Fenders. Plugged it in and it worked fine.
