Product Rating Product Review The Super Reverb an absolute king of Fender clean tones, but this amp takes pedals very well Fuzz/Od. And in my opinion thus amp can be play at 2.5 or 3 volume in house and is not to loud for early morning or late night jams. It sounds best on 5 or 6 but that I loud with 3D sound and lots of projection. Glad to own one!

Product Review I've been wanting this amp for some time now but I kept talking myself out of it because it's more amp than I need, it's bulky, it's heavy... it's heavy, it's too loud<--- "no such thing" but another review I read convinced me I just want it and I've got a good heavy duty hand-truck so what the hell. it's really not what I expected I thought it would sound like a bigger louder version of my Silverface Vibrolux but it's nothing like it. this thing really sounds good, my Vibe sounds good too but it's a whole different animal. the Super is just warmer and has a really nice tone with a ton of head room. dime the vol and drive it with my SG and it has a very nice growl to it, sounds like a really big pissed-off dog then drive it with a dist pedal and it gets really mean. It has good bottom end great highs and the mids are perfect. nice reverb and trem just a great amp it's worth packing the extra weight. but if weight is a problem then go for the tone master version it has good reviews also, just not my cup of tea.

Product Review It’s too big, too heavy, way too loud….extremely unreasonable for any household musician….my cats along with the wife hate it….it’s perfect! Honestly, I’m blessed to have all the 65 RI’s except the Super. I can’t believe I waited this long. It’s glorious. I absolutely didn’t need it but man I love this thing! It’s for sure the Flagship of my Fenders. Very happy!!! Household not so much ;)

Product Review I’ve been using this amp live. With a large band. Latin Jazz pop groove music. A lot of Percussion and horns. Very confident players. And this amps stays up with them. We play for a minimum of 3 hours and this amp is right there. Cuts threw nicely. Clean!!! Very clean. So enjoyable. Takes my player to that next level. I recommend this amp to pedal users that need to have all the possible sounds this amp can handle it all.

Product Review If you love the sound that shaped the 60's.....you will LOVE this amp! From it's rich, full sparkle and the full bottom end that comes from the 4x10 inch speaker configuration, there is a reason that this amp was THE SOUND that defined a generation of Blues, Rhythm & Blues and Rock 'n' Roll. As a bonus, it has one of the best tremelo and spring reverb sounds you will ever hear. Once you plug in, you will know right then and there why this was Stevie Ray Vaughn's favorite amp, and why Dereck Trucks plugged his Gibson SG into one of these babies when he was on the Road with The Allman Brothers Band... WHAT A GREAT AMP THIS IS! From the

Product Review True sound of your guitar is what your looking at here. This amp is very versatile with pedals. Nice clean and bright. This amp breathes like a true tube amp should. Plenty of power to cut through the mix. I have been using the Deville with the 4-10's (USA Made) for the last few years and this amp has definitely a different character/sound. Now in my opinion the Deville has its place and for the money its a steel. The Super has a somewhat less colored sound. I believe its a keeper at least at this point. Not inexpensive by no means but seems to be worth it. Had many amps over the last few years trying to get "that sound" from mesa's to marshalls and egnaters to quilters. and I've always went back to my deville. I think at this point (only had the super for about 3 weeks) i'm hoping this will be my new rig for everything I do. It's a bit heavy but what amp thats worth playing through isn't? I'm definitely a die hard tube amp guy. Nothin else works.

Product Review The Fender Super Reverb is a fantastic amp. Mine arrived 2 days after shipping and was in perfect condition. Out of the box it fired up right away and sounded great. The tubes are Grove Tubes and they have a sweet tone. The 4 Jensen speakers are beautiful. You can get it bright or dark and smokey. The amp works well with pedals but its advisable to turn down the treble. It gets spikey if the highs are to hot. I use a Telecaster, Strat, Les Paul and an Ibanez John Scofield. All sounded great but the Tele really sang. Two points of interest. The literature states the cover is extra. Not so. It's included. This amp is heavy. 65 pounds and it's solid. Hitting low notes on my Scofield sounded great without any cabinet rattles. The weight is manageable if you think ahead and use a hand truck. I wouldn't hesitate to take it to a gig. The Super Reverb is a fantastic amp and the zero interest plan at AMS makes this a perfect deal.

Product Review I have wanted a 1965 Super Reverb since I was a kid in Tampa, listening and watching guitarist, David Laswell of the Trojans, a local Tampa band, use this iconic and respected amplifier. It is everything I hoped it would be. I am proud to ad this Fender Super Reverb to my vast collection of amplifiers and guitars.

Product Review My Super Reverb arrived exactly on time and in perfect condition. Pulled it out of the box, checked all parts and set it up. Tone heaven even at low volumes. Every dial and switch adjustment makes a difference and you can shape your tone with ease. Takes pedals like a champ and brings new life to each. Couldn't be happier with the product and the service!

It is sturdy and made with care. mine has taken a beating.. still looks great and sounds great too, keeps sounding better more and more. as the tubes wear in and the wood breaks in. Your general opinion of this product. I would buy again, 45 Watts is a little much, but when I need it I am glad its there. this is a heavy beast. but its not too terrible once you hear it. I am always happy with the sound I get out of this, I have set it up many ways and I am always impressed with the tone. stardard finish, fender makes a good name for themsleves with the quality of this amp na

High. A proffesional grade instrument and the cost is still there within reach of actual working guitar players, who have many other expenses, and cant lay out for a $3000 dollar, 15 watt amp (that lacks reverb).Maybe thats why Fender amps and Guitars are STILL used by more GENUINE WORKING MUSICIANS than any other brand, the entire world over. Check the used amp market sometime. Its filled with Fenders and Marshalls. If used gear-music stores are full of 30 and 40 year old boutique amps come the day, then maybe i'll be impressed. Your general opinion of this product. Overall, based on what especially ridiculously overpriced amps such as Soho,Soldano and Bogner,or just everyday overpriced amps like PRS and Engel are charging, for the Fender Cricuits they all use, this top of the Fender Line,Made in the USA amp is a good value. Its a real gamer not a basement toy and its Reverb and Trem are otherworldly good. Its absurd to expect Fender to "go back to hand wiring" amps when NObody else making amps in the UK or US, in the $1500 category is doing that either. The bald truth is that point to point wiring is not necessarily better than bread board circuitry, just easier for "modding" hobbyists to get at.Also, we cant really blame Fender for the at large quality of tubes being made today either. Can we really expect Fender to ship their top shelf amps with RCA tubes because they did 50 years ago? At the end of the day,No one can touch Fenders Tube Guitar amps for tone, reliability and overall useabilty, not at the Prices Fender sells them at. If someone ever taught a college class called "Tube Amp w/ Lab", Bring a Super Reverb and the owners manual can be the text. All Fender 6L6 tube amp. Useable at any setting. Timeless although id really love to see Fender go to the vintage correct gold colored grill cloth with the 65 reissue amps.

Same New Fender Tube Amp Issues

This amp aint an exact replica of it's namesake! Times change as does technology, but Fender should heed the complaints of it's customers. That being, BRING BACK POINT TO POINT WIRING, (WITHOUT CHARGEING AN ARM AND A LEG!), PINE CABS, FINGER JOINED CORNERS, WAY BETTER TUBES AND CRAFTSMENSHIP!! At this price point you should'nt have to swap tubes right out of the box, nor should you have to swap output, power, choke, and reverb transformers to get the tone you expext from this, or any Fender. This amp WILL deliver. Just be prepaired to lay out another 6 to 14 hundred in upgrades! If you have a problem, be prepaired to just find a Fender authorised repair shop. Thier customer support, much like thier amps, leave alot to be desired. Better yet, read up on tube amps and fix/upgrade yourself. Always keep in mind that there are LETHAL voltages present even when the amp is unplugged!! Also, doing it yourself voids any warranty. Your general opinion of this product. See "Quality and Feel". N/A Again, the tone IS there. For starters, get some really good replacement tubes. It will help. The AlNiCo speakers sound pretty darn good, but again, due to the 2ohm issue, the four 10 inch speakers that are rated at 8 ohm's must be wired the way they are unless you upgrade the transformer. Till then, you'll find one of the 4 speakers get most of the volume and it kind of trickels down from there. Also, the extention speaker out is all but useless unless you custom order a 2ohm cab. Definitely has the look of a 65 Super! Good job in this catagory, but, no cover! I'd sure like to know who decides these things! I mean, you get a cover for cheaper Fender amps, but not this one??? N/A

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Just what I expected from Fender. I don't expect this amp to brake on me any time soon.

FEATURES:
Simple, just what I like. Plug in and go.

EASE OF USE:
Very easy to use, Simple, simple, simple.

VALUE:
At first I thought it was a little to high in price, but after playing one at a local store, I could see that you got your moneys worth and then some.

SOUND:
Classic Fender sound, by far the best amp I've heard in a long time.

STYLE:
Blues

MUSIC EXPERIENCE:
about 15 years

OVERALL:
Over all this amp is perfect for the Blues, you get that SRV sound, I can find the Budd Guy sound, and when I play it though my Sheraton it's B.B King all the way. The Best thing about this amp would have to be the 4X10's you just get more headroom out of the amp. A much deep sound than the Deluxe. The twin was just to load for me, 40 watts is just fine.

The Super Reverb Is Right!

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Like the other guys have said, built solid and made to last.

FEATURES:
It's very simple to use and has that 70's blusey sound that I have been looking for. Nice clean pots for the e.q.'s and perfect amount of watts for the gospel music that I use this for.

EASE OF USE:
Again...plug in and play. I use an Analog Man modified Tubescreamer to put this over the top a little to get even more creamy tone on solos but not too much as to take away the natural tone I get from this awesome amp. I have Mesa-Boogies that I use for the rock gigs I do and I am considering buying another one of these to use for that also. I dig the tight sound of the four tens. It reminds me of the old Fenders I used when I first got started on guitar. Extremely satisfied that I invested in this!

VALUE:
Good price for this amp. Didn't bother me at all. I really believe that you pay for what ya get and the way this is built, it's well worth

Fender Heaven!

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Strong, powerful, solidly built!

FEATURES:
The sound quality is awesome - crisp clear highs, mellow deep lows and solid mids! The Reverb - holy bananas... it's sweet what can I tell ya?!

EASE OF USE:
Just plug'n play! I have several boss pedals I run through it and they sound spectacular; I highly recommend you use a compressor pedal to get that added debth and clairty - way, way kewl.

VALUE:
Value is unparalled - price was just right... but I would have paid more after hearing it.

SOUND:
I play classic 60's 70's rock, blues, country and early british invasion band tunes on it and the sound is just as pure as the original sounds that were generated from those genre's! This amp rocks!

Big blue monster!

Product Rating

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
As rock solid as any of Fender's re-issues, no bugs, but get a warranty. This thing is heavy, and tends to get set down hard. TUBES!

FEATURES:
There's nothin' you don't need here. Bare bones: hi, mid, lo, 'verb, trem, goodnight. Footswitch is useless. Find a setting that's perfect (takes about 10 seconds), and play with range, versatility, and scope all night. Beauty.

EASE OF USE:
See above. It is not possible for even the most knuckle-dragging guitar clonk-heads to get bad tone from this thing.

VALUE:
Yup, no doubt. I think the best testament I can give is that if were this twice the price, I wouldn't have blinked. This just means I can buy two...

SOUND:
Crisp, but very warm with a depth you can't get from the re-issue twin, or especially the Cyber-Twin. Four 10's add enough body to play with scooped out mid on a strat, and it's got the roar to back up Les Pauls. That said, it's not as loud
