Product Rating Product Review This a great guitar amp for anyone trying to get a contemporary modern worship sound. I've gotten so many compliments on my tone after service. But it was a journey getting that desired sound. Right out the gate you can think that this amp is very harsh on the high end but with alittle tweaking it sounds phenomenal. Would recommend to a friend.

Product Review This is probably a love hate product. I almost returned it then fell in love with it. It's good the looks, that is definitely not a problem. It's got tone, but here's the dirt. I have the treble WAY down, WAY down. For a bucker, that great, for a strat, it's too much sparkle. I've hear that the speaker "breaks in", mellows over time. But that said, this is ONE chunky puppy. I'm able to run it low volume and have it in stereo with my Princeton, with it probably a match made in heaven. Would I buy it again? YES. It's beautiful too. May I add the Sparkle removing cap some day? Quite possibly, but for now, not a problem. I'm curious how the speaker with fair over time. Know if this is what you want, if it is, you can't get a better deal for a "keeper" amp.

Product Review I have been looking for a small tube amp. I never had one and since I am on a budget I wanted to maximize my purchase. This amp had good ratings and has been around for a while { I also am a Fender fan } I am glad I did get this FSR model. Solid cabinet-not particle board} plenty of power and features. AMS also had free 1 day express delivery. Now that the playing field has been leveled regarding sales tax I am glad I chose AMS. I also live in NJ and will giving them all my business. Great amp and GREAT company !!

Product Review I purchased this amp as a clean option for recording over my Bassbreaker 007. It's more than I could have hoped for. My modded 85 MIJ Strat AND AmeriPro Jag sound phenomenal. Super chimey & great bass response with that Jensen. The "FAT" switch(footswitchable) is a nice option if you want that extra punch but that what my 007 is for. Pairs well with pedals quite well but if I'm being honest, this straight in with a Strat...You'd better bring extra pants! I couldn't be happier with this 15 watt dream and look forward to to years of magic and music.

Big Texas Tone

Product Review I bought a pair of these to gig with in small to medium size venues. They are in that niche low wattage combo that you can turn up and let the amp breathe and not worry about drowning out the stage mix or drawing undue attention from the sound engineer. The Jensen speakers sound great once "broken" in and the amp circuit really pairs well with them! The onboard Reverb is what you would expect from a Fender spring Reverb. I run it usually on 2 just to give the note some bloom area and it delivers it in spades. Now the FAT switch I run in the always on position. It really warms up and thickens the mid range and delivers a fatter tone which lends itself perfectly to getting that Texas tone we all know and love! I typically hit the front end of my amps fairly hard with some overdrive pedals of various makes and models and the occasional compressor and the input stage handles it beautifully without farting out at stage volume levels which is crucial for getting a big open tone!

Product Review Being an owner of too many amps, including several Fender amps from as early as 64 Deluxe Reverb, 66 Super Reverb, 70s Silverface Champ, 90s VibroKing and formerly a 60 Tweed Champ. I had hoped to find a consistency in this 15 watt amp. Unfortunately Fender finds the need to constantly change/update the amp as we are already up to version IV. This being version III, not sure of all that was changed from the previous but it has some really great qualities and some not so wonderful. Fender cleans are cool unto themselves and this one is no different. Using pedals for a bit more singing overdrive and that seems to work fairly well. Using a 66 Stratocaster, it changes nicely for each pickup position. Lots of transparency, many gorgeous tones available. The amp has a great deal of high end, in fact I have the treble rolled off completely. Still find a tad bit of harshness, not sure if it the combination of the Jensen speaker and the Groove tubes or what? Would like to A B with versionIV

Product Review Playing for 40 years and my main amp is a big Marshall,so I bought the Fender Blue Jr III for it's compact size. I am surprised how much I dig this amp. This Fender with the Jensen speaker and the fat switch just kills. The blonde version looks great in the living room and it is light enough to move about easily. I would highly recommend this amp for a guitarist that does not use super high gain or a lot of effects. The amp is simple, easy to get a good sound out of, won't break the bank and sounds very good. Fender improved it over the old versions so grab one. Thanks for reading.

Product Review Fender has a great history of making legendary amps. This is certainly no exception. Really great clean tone. Reverb is really good and the Jensen Speaker sounds wonderful. This is a keeper and looks great too.

Product Review Not sure how the Blues Junior IV compares. I found I like the top end of the III. The reverb can get carried away, however, I keep it dialed at 2. Master is cranked to 12 and I keep treble at 3 , mids back at 5 and bass up around 6. I find volume at 8 is plenty for my home use. Mostly use single coils, though this takes brustbuckers well, in addition to a Tube screamer. I preferred the look of this Blues Junior over the tweed for a different vibe (mojo). The handling weight is comfortable.

Product Review Such a sweet sounding amp. Sold a Blues Junior a number of years ago, and probably shouldn't have. So happy to have another, and this one sounds wonderful with the C12N speaker. I almost bought a Champion 40, until I almost bought a Super Champ X2. A conversation with a salesperson from a different store got me thinking about just forgetting all that and going with a Blues Junior. So glad I did. Crisply cleans and nice indie overdrive on this amp. Enough cannot be said about having a true Fender Reverb tank in your amp. You can throw digital reverb at me all day and it's never going to be even remotely the same. This reverb is useful all the way to 12 for pure surfy goodness. Things to note about this amp and it's description/photos: The speaker in this thing is a Jensen C12N. It's not a P12N (love the C12N). In regards to the color, it's slightly darker than pictures, but looks awesome regardless. Tolex sort of matches the grill cloth. Gives it a real creamy, uniform look, classy.
