This amp is amazing, I always keep own of these . My last one I had for was ver a decade and it took quite a lot of abuse as far as extreme temperatures , being left on over night at a gig, and getting dropped .
Pro jr is perfect amp for using in studio , or on a rock gig . For jazz gigs I usually play stereo , one amp is a bigger amp and then this one os the other amp. Adds clarity and sparkle to my tone .

Best amp for recording pop music , country , indie rock . It has a super warm sound because the circuit is so clean with only two knobs on the amp .
I play stereo through this amp with a fender deluxe on jazz gigs and church services .
This new version is a lot better than the old ones , the old ones were still the best recording amp . But now they have more head room, more clean volume before the tubes break up .

I have been playing for some 50 years and have never heard an amp that's sounds so good.
It has amazing cleans. Too loud to overdrive at home but takes an overdrive pedal very well.
This amp has opened a new world of clean, sparkling tones from my Strat and my Tele.
I have nearly forsaken overdrive, this is the king of tone. Buy One !

Most of you already know a lot about this amp already. It not only sounds great, it looks so good sitting there next to my Stratocaster. It absolutely breaks up sooner then previous models. It’s still very loud for such a small amplifier. It’s much too loud to play in a apartment and get its signature sound. However, the same can be said for almost any quality amp. I do play it a low volume with some pedals and it’s fun but not as inspiring as turning it up to 6 and let it do its thing. I chose the Pro not the Jr because the Jr’s reverb stinks and more often than not fails. It’s also even louder and I don’t play on a band. At louder volumes it really doesn’t even need reverb. I use a HOF2 for just a tiny splash.

All about one knob simplicity

I agree with the reviews and also play a Tele with it.
Can only add that working with this one knob will really teach you something about playing in regards to
pick up sensitivity and amp sensitivity. Also room
acoustics. Plug straight and everything is just a lot more "naked". Your sound, like a beautiful woman (or man?), can be seen more clearly and then you can buy her some clothes, dress up the sound. Four stars cuz cab not da best wood.

This little beauty might be the best value on the market in its class right now!! I have at least a dozen amps...all kinds, and this Pro Junior immediately went to the front of the line in my list of favorites. It’s muscular and no nonsense....but very articulate and sweet! A perfect gigging combo....light but powerful. Also, it’s totally cool looking...classy ???? ...so, add all this to the great service you get with American Music Supply....couldn’t be happier ?? It is a loud amp for how small it is. The 10 inch speaker can move some air. To get it overdriven, it's probably going to be too much to handle if you're playing in your basement. Loud enough to be heard over a drummer at jams, it can do it all. Now, it probably won't be clean, because it doesn't have a ton of clean headroom. The amp starts to break up at around 5 to 6ish (depending on your guitar) and it isn't bright, articulate distortion, it's pretty dark. It was clearly designed to get humbucker sound out of a single coil guitar. My SG sounded super muddy with the tone knob up all the way, but my Tele sounded killer.
It sounds killer, but don't expect to get a clear, articulate sound out of it if you have humbuckers at high volumes
