Product Rating Product Review I'd been in the market for a tube/valve Twin Reverb as an upgrade for my Fender Hot Toys Deluxe III when I came across the Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb. I heavily researched the amp (through YouTube reviews only) and decided to pull the trigger and buy this amp. How surprised I was when I received the amp in person. Incredible Twin tone, and response without the weight. This amp only weighs 33lbs! I love the attenuator, it sounds great live, but I can still practice at home. From the reverb to the foot switch to the versatility, I'm 100% sold and satisfied! I highly recommend this amp, and AMS has it from sale to my door in two days! Thanks AMS!

Product Review I have had a twin reverb in the past and loved the sound and tone. This amp is as close to a tube sound as your gonna get with a digital amp. Plus the weight is not a back killer when you tote it around. I highly recommend this amp to anyone who wants a fender twin reverb but at a fraction of the cost. My hat is off to American Musical Supply for their no interest financing.

Product Review Good clean tone, reverb and tremolo. Never owned the tube version so can’t make a comparison. To my ears this amp sounds great. Accepts pedals well. Add a little overdrive and it screams. Only thing I missed was a headphone jack. I tried a hosa xlr to 1/4 inch adapter which worked but was noisy. I wouldn’t recommend it. Next I tried a Focusrite Scarlett solo interface. I did not download the software just used it for a headphone jack. The only downside is that it must be connected to a laptop or computer for power. It works great. Just put the standby switch in standby or mute and the speakers are silent. It a great amp and probably the last one I will need.

Product Review This amp is amazing! Same tones as tube amp. Takes pedals extremely well. Adjustable wattage! No more backaches hauling my Hot Rod Deluxe around. Back to back you can't tell the tone if it's a tube amp or not. I can use it in my living room with the watts turned down or out at a gig. You can get some serious sustain an tone by turning the watts down and cranking the tone. Old studio trick 10 watt amp n crank it for never ending sustain. IMO it's the best all around amp from Fender. Pull the trigger on this one! You will be happy you did!

Product Review I’m a tube amp purist…. Or was before this came in the mail. I was dissapointed with the quilter Mach 2 and didn’t have any faith in digital tone, but I really wanted to try this amp out because I’m a gigging musician and having a 33 lb twin with an attenuator and di seemed worth any tonal sacrifice. This amp makes me feel like a dog with my head out the window of a car, it sounds so good. I’ve put it up next to tube amps and it’s the first digital amp I’ve ever played that sounds better than most tube amps, part of that may be the twin 12” cream backs but I’ll take it. Considering you can’t push a real twin to speaker break up at a sane volume for a small gig (let alone at your home), I think it sounds better than a real twin unless your at a gig with 1000+ people, and at that point you won’t be able to hear the difference anyways. Great job fender. Only negative comment is that the di is a 7 or 8 out of ten while it’s a 10/10 through the speakers, so if you really want great tone just mic the amp. Still love it and will be using it as my main workhorse for years to come

Product Review So close to the original , it's hard to tell the difference. A Fender Twin Reverb is the cleanest Amp period. The Twin Tone Master is no exception. There's not a more beautiful Guitar sound than a Fender Strat ,Tele,or Archtop Jazz Guitar coming through a Twin Reverb. This Amp is well worth the Money , really a no Brainier.

Product Review Quick delivery after a smooth shopping, checkout and purchase process. My initial reaction is very positive towards the amp. It’s easy to operate and the functions are straightforward. The amp SOUNDS GREAT. It responds faithfully like vintage twin reverb tube amps I’ve played. The amp sounds good with my pedal board and the ability to alter the wattage allows for quite a few different options gain wise. I believe this amp will prove to be very versatile and usable for a jobbing musician. It’s 35 lbs…which is huge in and of itself making this light amp so much easier to load in and out. The direct output worked well on its first gig this weekend. I would’ve liked for there to have been the addition of an FX loop. Since we’re modeling a vintage amp as a digital platform, why not throw that modern function in as well? FX loop aside, the amp has more than enough headroom to do the job. The cosmetics are great and it seems like a solid build. Time will tell more on that front. My amps don’t get to live in bedrooms. So far, I’m pleased with the amp and I’m hoping I stay that way …I love what Fender has done with the Tonemaster series amps. I would totally recommend this amp.

Product Review I have been playing guitar since 1965. My first Fender was a Twin Reverb. I bought it when I worked in a music store in New York. It was heavy but I was young so it did not matter. I was a full time musicians at the so I depended on it. When I moved to California I needed money and had to sell it to survive. Over the years I have owned many amps but I had several of them. These days I have had back injuries so the heavy amps are out for me. When I tried the new Tonemaster Twin Reverb I was thrilled to hear it and lift it! It’s spot on sound and only 35 pounds! Incredible! So I could not wait to get one. It’s worth every penny. They nailed the sound through modern modeling and light weight materials .

Product Review After drooling over tube amps for years the time finally came where I needed a powerful amp that had the punch for gigs and a good tone at low volumes for home practice. The attenuator was a big selling point for me and it works so well. I was blown away with capability this amp has and the dual celestion speakers sounds incredible. I’m so glad that I went down this route getting the tonemaster and if you’re in a similar situation I 10/10 recommend.

Product Review I checked out everything I could on this amp. The difference(s) between the Tone Master and the original Twin Reverb. The only true difference, for me, is the weight. No “modeling amp” knock-off sounds here. This is the real deal! I started out on Fender amps in the early 70’s and have owned just about everything. This amp is like coming home. It feels, sounds and reacts just like the original! I could write a novel on this amp, but won’t do it here. Takes pedals perfectly, breaks up on pick attack. I can’t think of a better purchase I’ve ever made. Try it and you’ll buy it. I chose the blonde with the cream backs. Thinking about buying a second one with the Jensens. Can I give this 6 stars??

Product Review I have owned an original Fender Twin Reverb in my life, and of course I loved it, it did everything that I could ever want out of an amp. Now, keeping that in mind, the new "Tone Master - Fender Twin Reverb" does about 90% of the reproduction of that same sound that came from my original amp. I would dare say that unless you're a pro-fessional musician that's owned a tubed version of this bad boy, you won't be any wiser. I love this amp and what it does sound wise for me and my Teles and Strats. And the main reason that I opted to part ways with my tubed version was the overall weight. The original tipped the scales at over 80 lbs, the new Tone Master, a little over 30 lbs. And for a 67 year old man, that's a life saver! Buy you one of these, I don't believe you'll be disappointed!

Product Review I'm very happy with the amp! I have an original tube twin and it's very heavy this new version is incredibly light sounds so much like the original with additional features and I couldn't really tell the difference with the original as far as power and output it's amazingly powerful, however this amp allows for different power options along with an XLR direct output on the back which is something I've never had on an Amp looking forward to not having to mic the amp and see what that's going to be like. Also I've played on stages that bounce the reverb on the new twin doesn't have the thunder sound when it's bouncing on a portable stage. Awesome!

Product Review This amp captures the essence of the Twin Reverb tone so closely that if I didn't already know that it wasn't a tube amp, I'd have never known. The "feel" of the amp is a little different from the tube version but if you're on the listening end and not the one playing, it's really hard to tell a difference based purely off of tone, especially in a noisy live setting. If you're main focus is playing live and you want the closest thing to an actual Twin Reverb with half the weight gone, this is the way.

Product Review I have been playing guitar for 20 years now and have owned all different kinds of amps from tube to analog and sometimes digital. Tube amps are such high maitence and as much as I tried, I could never get a solid state amp to sound as good as a tube amp. When I played this amp for the first time I was blown away! It’s all the tube sound without the macitence and especially the weight! It’s so light! The attenuation is also a great feature because it allows you to get good breakup without the insane volume you would need with the tube version. This amp also takes pedals very well and if you thrown in a tube screamer it’s fairly easy to get some amazing tones. I would highly recommend this amp!

Product Review I've been a full time musician for 30 years. Played 6 nights a week on the road for all of those years. I stopped using twin amps due to the weight. This amp is amazing! Reacts like a twin, easy on my back! The watt switch on the back is great to maintain your sound at lower volumes. The direct out works as it should. The Celestion Creambacks really enhance this amp. Nice job Fender!! Also, as usual, AMS is always easy to work with!

Product Review I purchased this TM Twin for doing gigs where a tube Deluxe Reverb wouldn’t give me ample power. Starting back in November, I had a good chance to run it through it’s paces pre- covid. In my experience, Twins tend to vary(a lot) from unit to unit. This Tone master if nothing else, alleviates that problem of consistency. It’s a very good representation of a Twin with some extra features that is portable. The weight factor is a huge consideration also, since hauling a tube Twin isn’t a possibility any more. Great job by Fender on these amps!!

Drive it with some Xotic effects. The line out is one of the best in the game allowing near perfect recreation of your sound direct to board/mixer. We all know what’s coming next in the Tonemaster series or do we?

Product Review I have played many Fender Amps over the years, but my favorite was always The Twin Reverb Combo with the 2 x 12's. The undeniable sound of the tremelo setting combined with the sweetest sounding reverb, and the cleanest tone ever created for an electric guitar...EVER. That's why it's one of the most sought after amplifiers on the planet. The new TONE MASTER was created to DUPLICATE that sound without using tubes. That alone eliminates over half of the original weight. It practically took two people to carry the original, or risk serious bodily injury. I can lift this amp with one arm without having to see a chiropractor afterwards. How did they do that, you say? Well...a dedicated 8 core processor thats only purpose is to recreate the original Twin Reverb sound. Wow...and does it. It ALWAYS sounds like it has brand new tubes!! The only added luxury is an attenuator that can take it from an ear-splitting 85 watts to neighborhood-friendly 1 watt!!! You can really crank the gain without going all Pete Townsend!! 5 Stars and kudos to Fender on creating this modern wonder!! Hats off to American Musical Supply for creating a payment plan that a working musician can truly appreciate!

The tone is spectacular. I have a tube twin and they both sound the same except, on is lighter. I use the tone master every show and even in church. Product Review I love this amp. I have played for well over 25 years in just about every amp with every type of guitar out there. Fender have knocked it out of the park with the Tonemaster Twin. I have gotten many compliments and even people that have looked at the amp after a set and specifically stated "Oh it is a real twin". I then have the pleasure of breaking the news to them by letting them pick it up and see that all the magical tonal goodness is coming from an amp that has no tubes. The direct out is great and the attenuator is amazing for stage volume. We have now entered a new era for guitar I feel with this amp. A+++++++ for me. Buy it and never look back.

Product Review The modeling experience hasn't really lived up to its potential until now at least as far as Fender is concerned. Using all the digital power to get one model right (including the tremolo and the reverb, OMG) has paid off. this amp had all my fellow guitarist (and tube snobs) completely fooled until they scoped the volume control and checked "under the hood". The attenuation is genius and critical to getting /what you buy a Twin for.
