Other than the rumble, this is my first Fender amp, and I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years now. This amp sounds epic, even at low volume. I can’t wait to take it out to a show, but until then…lower volume. This is a great amp for me but I’m blessed with neighbors who don’t mind me playing guitar anytime I want. If you’re not in that situation, I would still recommend getting on the phone with Adam G. and see what he can set you up with. He’s a great, easy going guy and he helped me land on this after about an hour of conversation. I was going to get something else that just didn’t work for right now. He took my needs into play, along with my wants…and got me settled. After playing with the Champion 100, I realize that he did me a solid.

I had purchased the 40 watt Champion some time ago and loved it so much I decided to upgrade to the 100. Things I like most about the 100.....effects on BOTH channels, the included footswitch makes it a breeze to switch between channels, this thing is LOUD. I rarely go much higher than 2 or 3 and that is plenty loud just for at home practice. 10 would probably rattle the floor :) If you have been playing a 20 or 30 watt practice amp and want something louder with more features, this is the way to go.

Great amp, versatile, good for any genre. Clean sound is great. You can dial in some great tones if you take the time to familiarize your self with what this amp has to offer. It’s light and easy to transport. Nice sound at low volume making it easy to practice with, but loud enough for a small venue. Great for beginners and intermediate players looking for an affordable amp.

This amp was easy to use and had a lot of sound options available. It was plenty loud and sounded good when I tried it out and played it solo in my garage. Unfortunately, when I tried it in a band setting it was all treble and no matter what I did I couldn’t get it to sound as good as it did when I was playing solo. I ended up sending this back for a refund so I could purchase something else. Just because it wasn’t for me doesn’t mean it isn’t for you. I would just suggest that if you are able, you try one of these in person before you make a decision to purchase.

I love this thing to pieces, and it might be the best amp I've ever had. Even though I began playing in the 60s, I somehow avoided tube amps to a great degree and went straight to solid state. My ONLY regret with the Champion series is that Fender chose to quit using spring-reverb in their "every man" line after the Frontman series. I, personally, would have paid extra for it. I don't use a lot of the effects on this amp, as I have most of what I need in old-school pedals. The reverb and tremolo are good quality, but many of the rest really need more variable parameters. Just my opinion. You can tap the tempo in for several of these effects. Bottom line: Anywhere you need the volume and sound of a Twin Reverb, this amp will fill the bill quite adequately.

The Rock Star Status from AMS made this a comfortable purchase experience with splitting the payments down to 3 and this Fender is a beauty. I usually buy all my equipment from American, but I found this amp at a pawn shop for 120.00 Brand NEW. I have a Marshall MGHCFX 100 half stack that stinks compared to this combo amp. I would not hesitate to grab one of these even at the list price because you can not go wrong, it's a great amp.

I've been playing for fifty years. I've used just about every amp out there combos,stacks etc.this thing is awesome, excellent tone and modeling. If I were still giging this would be my new stage amp.light weight full of tone and punch.when they say it mimics the 68 deluxe and Princeton models, it does! Got this for my son and he absolutely loves it! Great effects built in, loud as hell, and even has an included foot pedal to change the effects! The clean channel sounds really nice even though he's always playing on channel 2 with the metal voice. This amp should cost more!

I've played a lot of SS amps over the years since they started making them, being a tube amp only person, I am 100% positive this is the best so far. Been playing since 1968 and known a lot of people that have bought everything SS, so I've played on a few. Takes effects great and can't beat the price. The fender champion 100 is by far your best bang for the buck. The effects and simulators that are built in gives amazing tones. The two 12" speakers puts out tons of volume. I have to tell you i planned on spending my money wisely. I researched my butt off and tried a dozen combos.. I couldn’t find one of these fender 100s to play with but was enticed by all of its features and reasonable price point. Well I broke one of my rules and pulled the trigger and ordered it. I received air a day or so later as promised. I am here to tell you this amp is worth it and it’s worthy of all the praise. I love this Ampliphier it’s great for practice, it Immolates about every guitar tone imaginable and has a clear channel that rings beautifully. Money well spent! It has plenty of power for gigging even moderately sized venues. I’m so sold!!! Thank you!!!

My Fender Champion 100 Amp came in a very well packed box, and was here in one day from my ordering it from AMS. The 3 pay payment 0% Interest payment plan came in handy to make life easier for me and very convenient.
Thanks to AMS for all they do. The packaging was excellent and the amplifier was delivered in one piece and not a mark on it. Inside the box Everything was complete and ready to go. Very nice job.
My first impression was outstanding! All the control knobs were even set to zero, not just placed on the amp. The quality control is excellent from Fender.
The real test was the sound from first plugging it in. The clean crisp sound you expect from Fender. It comes complete with footswitch and power cord. Which are inside the cabinet in the back of the amp.
The controls are very straight forward and smooth to adjust. Everything you would also expect from Fender. My impression after using this amp is simply Awesome. The quality and sound are outstanding. The services from AMS a real pleasure.
I frequent other music shops and I have to say that my experience with AMS has me coming back for all my needs in music. The pricing is fair and the 0% payment plans are excellent for sure. And shipping is super fast and prompt. The packaging and handling is really done right. If your in the market for a nice Amplifier or any other needs. Shipping was on time as always this new amp replace a fender mustang one this reminded me of my old fender music man I used to have sounds clear and effects are easy to understand for a 64 year old just beginning to play again this is perfect comes with a dual foot switch which is great I have purchased my music equipment from AMS with absolutely no regrets it was great when they gave us 8 months free financing and I am sorry they don’t do this anymore as I just a disabled old guy with limited income but business is business and maybe a they got taken advantage of its too bad it was a great program nevertheless I would absolutely recommend this amp to any one in any playing situation

It’s a lot of bang for the buck, that’s for sure! I really like the classic look and simple control layout. Very loud but still sounds good at low volumes. The included foot switch is a nice bonus, especially at this price! If you have a good pedal setup, this amp will drive them well and you can include the decent onboard effects into the mix to tweak your sound even more. That’s how I use this amp and I’m liking it a lot! Thanks to AMS for making it so easy for me to own this great amp with their easy payment plan!

I give this app five stars hands down.I bought the limited edition white one a few years ago.Since then I added another one which I strung together with a Leslie pedal to get stereo. The tones and voicing are endless and so clean. Add a few affect pedals coupled with the built it effect gives you limitless possibilities.between the two amps you get plenty of sound and plenty loud. I bought a couple of Fender Super-sonic 60 2x12 cabinets and with a little tweaking added them to the mix. If you just have one of these amps or how it up on steroids like I did these amps are amazing.

Would I use it in the type of large venues I played, No. Great though for a smaller venue. Clean sound and great with pedals too. Bought this amp and was a little leary about its performance because of the low price. I have to say that I was amazed by the sound and wide variety of effects and sounds its capable of producing. I would recomend this amp to anyone looking for a bang for your buckbuck.

I just received this amp today and hooked it up immediately!
I've been playing guitar for close to 40 years and with the same band now for 24 years. This amp will definitely go with me to our next gig on the 29th of December. It will be the first time I have not taken one of my tube amps with me. No question, definitely worth the money and a wise investment. The sound is truly amazing and the engineers have outdone themselves on the champ 100. Thank you again AMS!! Already looking forward to my next purchase!

This amp is great . i play in a blues band and have used it several gigs. this thing gets loud has nice cleans and can go from clean to blues to roc to metal and it cannot be beat for the price i have owned several tube amps but this one is my go to easy to use and lighter than I thought. This amp surprised me by its light weight and power house sound when I poured the volume to it. Awesome sound with very little adjustments. It has the sound and drive of a much bigger amp !! I would recommend this amp to anyone who wanted to down size and still keep that punch .

This is the perfect amp for practice and gigging in small venues, e.g. restaurants, bars, private parties, etc. It has the great Fender "clean" sound plus all of the effects built in that you will ever need to use. And, it is plenty loud! This amp is one of Fender's best kept secrets!

The simple all switch operation is just what I was looking for when I purchased my Fender Mustang IV four years ago. I preferrer this Fender Champ over the Mustang for ease of operation... the way this amp takes pedals... weight. Excellent sound quality with a large range of tone choices at the twist of a knob. Couldn't ask for anything better to gig with, yet play softly in the back of our home, that private session. Real nice appearance and allows you to store your included foot pedal and power cord in the back of this amp. Ready to go... Ready to play.

This really is an amazing amp for what I paid for it! I’ve been using it for about a month now and have finally dialed in the sound that I was looking for, darn close to my old 65 Deluxe Twin. It has almost endless possibilities of tones. This thing sounds even better the louder it goes, but for practice I very rarely go above two. I was told it takes pedals really well, but I haven’t felt the need to use them. AMS has great customer service and super fast shipping! Thanks again!

Gave me all I was promised and then some!! Has the voice and tone comparable to all. All the FX make it fun!! You can use this amp anywhere. Just got this today and tried both electric and acoustic/ electric. 6 &12 string. You can adjust this baby to what you need. Great sound all around. Customer service were right on point 100%. Wow had this amp got me covered. I wanted a tube amp but when I did my homework I said why this amp can do the same and I will never have to replace tubes. I had owned the Fender Champion 20 and I was happy with it, but I wanted a more powerful Amp with a greater range of sounds and sensations for live performances! The Fender Champion 100 does that for me in many ways!
It works well with both my Acoustic-Electric and Electric Guitars! And the Amp settings along with the Footswitch gives me many choices in the range of sounds and depth of reverb!
If you are going to perform live you need a great Amp like the Champion 100!

I was a little worried that being a solid state versus a tube amp that I would get an annoying hiss. That hasn't happened. It does all they claim. The tonal combinations are myriad. Going into this purchase, I was looking for an inexpensive, low maintenance, versatile amp. I've previously owned an old predecessor to this amp (Fender Ultimate Chorus), and loved it. Channel 1 is what you'd expect from a Fender blackface style amp. Channel 2 blew me away! Soooooo many useful and useable amp modelling options that's simple to dial in with the turn of a knob instead of fussing with a convoluted interface. You get various Fender style amps plus Marshall and Boogie style amps as well. For good measure, you also get a Roland Jazz Chorus amp model too. Both channels have a miriad of effects, independent controls for each channel. This amp has plenty of power with a very full sound coming from the 2 12 inch speakers.
Not to take anything away from this amp, but my only criticism of would be that when compared side-by-side, the tone isn't as warm and full bodied as an actual tube amp. When comparing this amp alongside my old silverface Deluxe Reverb, you can really hear and feel the difference. Ultimately I wasn't looking to replace my Deluxe Reverb, but rather to have a low maintenance option.
In the end, I gave this amp 5 stars because I got exactly what I was looking for out of this amp. This makes for a great legit starter amp, or for someone like myself who is looking for a compliment to my tube amps. It's slightly lighter to transport and more durable in case I want to grab and go jam or gig at questionable venues. It's good for a quick plug and play without worrying about warming up or wearing out the tubes in my tube amps which I can save for other occasions.

Bought this amp needing an additional guitar amp for my home studio. The price attracted me initially, but I checked out the video and decided on this amp after looking at several others that had built in effects. I was impressed by it's versatility and ease of use. Heck within a few minutes of checking out the different settings and effects I wrote the beginnings of a song. Of course it's not as loud as my other 400 watt amp, but this suits me fine as it works great in a studio setting. I recommend this amp for any one interested in getting all the effects this amp provides for the price. Well worth the $$$, as I've spent more in the past and got less!!!

This is the best amp for the money. You can get a lot of sounds. It sounds great with my telecaster. It's easy to use unlike my Peavey VIP3. You can set it like you want it. VIP3 sounds good but is hard to use.

The amp sounds really good and the controls are easy to use. However it doesn't seem to have nearly the wattage advertised.
Its great for my practice music room. Don't get me wrong. Its pretty loud but probably won't keep up with the big boys on the stage.

One of my band members picked the champion amp up a couple months ago and I was impressed with the sound and option this amp has.. My regular amp blew tubes but I didn't have a back up available while in the shop under warrentee.. So I ordered the Fender Champion. This little guy kicks butt and the price cant be beat.

I'm 65 and decided to start playing again. I started taking lesions when I was 10 and played for about six years. Got married after I got out of the USMC and went to work. After 35 years I wanted to play again. Love the new solid state amp and all the features. As I get better I want more equipment and think this will be a good hobby for me. I love the amp and I'm exploring all it;s features. Thanks for the fast shipping and goo customer service.

A great value for the price. I have a few great Fender tube amps, but was looking for a solid state that could keep up with a drummer and my band without burning tubes to practice twice a week and to use for bar gigs now and then. This one is great! I love my Blues Deluxe for tone, but this one can come real close with some fun effects as a bonus. Perfect for the semi-pro & garage jammer.
It seems very well made. I already have a smaller Frontman 25R I love for home practice and this is built as well, or better. The cab is particle board, but I've heard this is actually better for sound and it's very solid. Even the effects pedal is well made. I've only had it a few days at home and practice with my band, so I can't judge long term yet, but I expect more durable than my tube amps - like my little Frontman 25R has been.
Controls are much easier to manage than the Mustang Amps are. With analog feel much closer to the classic Fender amps.
I play some Chet Atkins and most of my tone is in that direction. This has nice cleans. My favorite so far is the tweed setting on the 2nd channel with drive around 3. Very close tones to my Blues Deluxe's clean channel with the tube like color. Add a touch of delay and it's all there for me using a hollow body electric!

The amp looks very classic blackface Fender. The only flaw was two little de-moisture packets Fender managed to trap between the front grill and the speaker mounting board. My amp has unique character because of them. They don't effect performance at all. Other-wise perfect!
We will see. I expect it to hold up better than my Blues Deluxe has because this is solid state.
