As a bass player, this has thousands of different sounds, from modern to old time sounds. Bluetooth is effortlessly and connects to my phone easily. Problem is, if you are trying to play along with a song it will drown out your bass and the music will stream more than the bass sound. It comes with a foot pedal for effects and sounds.

I’ve had this amp for a couple weeks, mainly using it for rehearsing so far, but wow… what a powerhouse for a combo amp. Not just the fact that it’s a whopping 800w, but all the features it has. The presets are extremely fun to use and having as many user banks as well is absolutely crazy cool. The footswitch is a nice added bonus and as simple as it is, it gets the job done and all of it fits in my bag. The amp isn’t too bad in weight either, and can fit in my car with minimal effort. Overall it’s a must-buy if you’re a bassist looking for a ‘small’ but mighty amp. Don’t always need those stacks!!

Seriously, if you’re on the fence, just make the purchase. This thing is sick. Somewhat of a learning curve on getting the most out of all of the features, but I can’t say it’s user unfriendly. It’s also nice having a built in tuner. It thumps enough for me for now, but having the option to add a cab is definitely a plus. Being able to stream music to play along to when practicing is awesome as well. Anyways... too much typing, not enough bassing.

The headline says it all. Works great as a practice amp and even better as a gigging amp. In my 20+ years of playing bass I've never come across an amp this size with so much power, tone, and versatility. It holds its own jamming with a full Metal band with loud drums and two guitars. The tone app works great for discovering new tones or create your own and share with others. You can stream music to it using Bluetooth for practice. I've never been happier with a combo amp. Buy one. You won't be disappointed.

This amp everything I've ever wanted and more. I did not expect the amount of power coming out this amp when I first got it but boy was I amazed I even needed up being louder than my guitar player with his tube amp. the customization of tones it gives you are endless and the ability to connect your phone and play along with songs are great for practice or if you just wanna have a giant speaker. I've had this beast of a amp now for 6 months and I really don't see myself changing any time soon great for gigs and practice. My alone downside is its a little on the heavy side but you'd expect it coming from its size maybe drilling some wheels on the bottom to roll it around would help but other than that its probably my favorite amp worth every penny!!

Received it on Thursday...gigged with it on Saturday. Never even spun up any effects, didn't get to wifi or Bluetooth. Ran with the super redhead emulator, since I was an SWR guy. I wanted something familiar for its first time out. Set the bass to 12 o'clock, mids to 11 o'clock, treble to 2 o'clock. Thing was cutting through the band like it didn't make any sense. Excellent for 5 string finger funk. Drummer even said he could hear every note and nuance with clarity. And that was just picking a head in the bank I was familiar with withe EQ essentially flat; more or less. No bottoming out on the low B. Highly recommend this combo. Best combo I've ever owned or played through, and I'm only scratching the surface...Get it! Stat!

I recently went back to playing bass 100% of the time from guitar, and needed a small, lightweight amp for a 4 piece rock band.
The guitarists in the band are using a 70s Plexi and an 80s silver jubilee, each sitting atop 412s.
This amp cuts through and still sits perfectly in the band mix. Want a Super Bassman Overdrive sound? Yep, it's there. Want a Rat into a Raging SVT sound? In spades.
Do yourself a favor, and get it. Fender really hit the nail on the head as far as modeling with this, and the footswitch has all the features you'd want to use it live (tuner, tap tempo for delay).

Great amp! The two 10s push lots of bass, but also great mids qnd highs! There are plenty of inputs and outputs for most every situation! The effects our great qnd elimates the need for an effects pedal! The wifi feature to connect to yourphone is top notch and very helpful. I used a crate brand 15" all in one unit for 15 years. This by far is way betyer! Worth the buy!

I love my new Fender Rumble Stage 800. It replaces my outdated ‘67 Bassman and in a portable package, produces sounds almost exactly like my vintage amp. I am a little disappointed with the Bluetooth connectivity. Sometimes it drops out and I like to play over a Bluetooth stream. The included foot pedal is a nice addition. A machine this cool should come with a cover but overall a great product.

I first purchased the Studio Rumble 40 watt version of this amp. I was SO impressed with it, I wanted the Stage 800 for big gigs. After unboxing and trying it out, I can't believe the tone, quality and POWER!!! It literally was vibrating the walls and floor set on 3.5!!! I felt the sound waves passing through my leg and vibrating my bone!!! This is the most powerful bass amp I have ever owned! I truly hope this model NEVER reaches the end of life cycle, and if it does, Fender needs to make sure it keeps the power, sound, light weight, and quality! In one word, AWESOME!!!

Well worth the money. I’ve played a bunch of different size venues with this thing and it is great all by itself. Add the ext. cabinet and you can play anywhere. Great effects , easy to understand and with the app on your smart phone you can do same pretty cool stuff. They pretty much thought of everything with this one. I love it. And it only weighs 38 pounds!

I purchased this amp for a couple reasons. I own an ampeg svt 4pro with 2 410 cabs and I've found I really hate lugging it around for gigs. I wanted something with good tone, lots of volume,and most of all easy to set up. I've never owned a modeling amp before and I am amazed at how many different tones I can use. The way I cut through the mix with 2 guitars and a heavy drummer is amazing. I also like that I can use one of my 4 ohm ampeg cabs with this if I need extra volume for an outdoor show. I'm still keeping my ampeg but it might get jealous of me playing through this fender so much.

As a relatively new bass player, I readily admit this is overkill but, I rationalize my purchase realizing I'll never have to buy another pedal or cab and, my birthday is in nine days. The stage 800 is LOUD! I've yet to crank it to the max but 6 shook a clock and a picture off the wall. I have spent an incredible amount of time playing with the presets. I'm not familiar with a lot of the amp models so I can't vouch for how close they sound. Some of the differences are subtle, some are 180 degrees from anything you would expect. There are a hundred preset tones and 100 slots where you can create and store your own. You can hold the bottom down against screaming lead guitars and howling keyboards. Drummers will love you! The Rumble stage 800 has Bluetooth and WiFi, A lot of folks have stated they have had issues with connecting. I did not have a problem at all. The update was quick and easy. Not a lot of documentation in the box but there's tons at Fender.com.

First what I didn't like or added: I didn't like the short power cable so I bought a 10ft 14AWG cable and added 2" casters.
But this amp has everything I could ever want in a bass amp for practicing at home, to recording, to performing on any stage or arena land making me sound great.
Making me sound great comes from the built in amp emulators and effects pedals. The amp emulators include amp favorites like the Fender Bassman 300 & 65, to name a few. The fx pedals include reverb, delays, chores and more.
The built in WI-Fi allows the amp to down load new firmware updates and new add features. I just downloaded 4 new amps and 6 new fx. You can download bass artists effect too to your already 100 preloaded effects.
With the Bluetooth feature or aux port, I can learn to play new songs. I use Ultimate Guitar and stream it via Bluetooth or the aux port. You could stream any song you want to play with to the amp.
And the headphone jack will let you do your learning or practice in private.
Using the USB port your can record to your computer or stream more music to the amp.
Fender has a free smartphone app called "Fender Tone". It connects to the amp to make selecting a stored stored amp & fx preset OR create a new one. Note, fx pedal effects can be added together.
When it is time to perform on stage, this has 800 watts of sound to fill any large stage with it 2 10" speakers plus a tweeter that you can switch off when needed.
The amp also includes an external speaker jack that allows either a "SPEAKON" or a 1/4' connection cable to connect your favorite 4 or 8 ohm external speaker making your stage presence even greater.
But if your gig is in an arena and the sound-person wants to control your output, it has a pre or post line out or you can configure it to be a stereo post out, plus it has 1/4" left & right send and returns.
Those of you who used to lug those Fender Bassman amps around, you will love this amp is only 39 lb.
This amp comes with a four button multi-function foot switch, to allow: quick action, the looper, effects or presets via the FTSW jack. This jack can also be used for an expression pedal or you could use both the MGT-4 foot switch and the Fender EXP-1 expression pedal!
I needed a tool to allow me to be creative, help me learn new songs,record new songs, SOUND GREAT, and not be embarrassed (by not having what I need on stage, when on stage). This does it all for me!

Amazing amp. Easy to use, tremendous access to more online tones. One thing I find a flaw is the Bluetooth capability. If you’re practicing along to music thru the Bluetooth, it tends to skip and speed up and is more of a hassle than a useful feature. They would have made an amazing amp with or without that feature. But for the money and any situation your gig calls for, this Fender 800 stage amp is without a doubt the one to get it done.

I’ve had my Rumble stage 800 for almost two months now. The way this amp functions blew me away. I’ve never been able to dial in my tone so closely to how I want it. You can really shape your own unique tone with this bad boy. I’ve played several gigs with this amp, thankfully haven’t had any problems with it on stage. What I have noticed is having issues with extended practices. If i keep the amp on one preset for too long it leaves a burn impression on the lcd screen. But so far it has always disappeared after turning the amp off and letting it sit. My next issue with the amp is the Bluetooth connection between the amp and my phone. It’s seamless most of the time. Other times it doesn’t connect as fast as it should. And I’ve had connection hick ups from time to time, where I will lose ALL sound coming from my amp and it’ll either fix itself in a couple of minutes or I have to turn the amp off and let it sit for a couple of minutes then turn it back on. Overall great piece of gear.

Over all I love the amp. The tuner stinks on the pedal is the reason for 4 stars. Also the way the up and down bank works on the pedal. I didn’t buy it for the pedal. I however love the presets. I love the sound. More than that the size and weight! Perfect for small guys like myself. I use my iPhone to play along with my iTunes library. Works perfect and sounds better. I bought the external cab as well. All I can say is. Oh yeah!

I've used a Rumble 60 for a lot of years and love it. But I need more oomph for larger venues. Was considering the Rumble 500. Played it at a store, and like what it does. Then this Rumble 800 hit the market. AMS had it at my doorstep in 2 days. I've had it a week now, and have gone through modifying the presets and created a few of my own. I was blown away the first time I plugged my EB3 into it. This amp has real power, and a lot of good clean presets yeilded by the GT bass platform. It also has some very wild presets, but they're all tameable. Every day I am more impressed with my new Rumble Stage 800. I gambled on it. I won. And AMS comes through for me every time.
