The old standby. I've been using these since I started playing back in the early 80s. They are readily available, no matter where you are. I use Heavy on bass, when not using fingers. Medium, sometimes heavy, on electric guitar and thins on acoustic. Great starting point if anything.

I use a bunch of different types of picks around the same gauge thickness as the Fender Heavy picks, but I love these things. All the colors keep things interesting. Excellent picks for acoustic, electric, and everything else. My go-to.

This pick is a good all around pick that doesn’t make too much pick noise. The only downside for me is that for super fast picking, it tends to stick to the strings a bit. For super fast picking, I’d recommend the Dunlop flow jumbo 2mm. Otherwise, I like this pick.

I seldom use a pick,but when I do it's Fender MOTO. Bright attack with substance behind it. Comfort and high-visibility in certain colors. These are so "classic" reviews are kind of redundant! Also, if you ever get "stuck" on a gig,the local music shop should have 'em! I've used most of the materials on the market,but 4 me celluloid still rules.

I like these picks b/c they're pretty durable and medium gives a good feel for picking and strumming. I can also play pretty strongly and discovered that these same picks in blue shed a blue powdery color onto my thumb when I play. This color (standard tortoise?) doesn't do that.

Wonderful to be able to play with the best picks I've ever used again. My ol' stand by pickin' accessory for Sure. Great quality, quick delivery, easy to order,and hassle free. I just got a knock at my door, it's 1:30 am to go nextdoor and have some steamed muzzles! I grabbed my Hummingbird guitar, went into my pants pocket, pulled out a Fender heavy pick and went over in my underwear and ate some mussles, and played with a couple of friends! Thank God I had some picks in my pocket.

I've been using Fender picks since 1979 and the quality of the picks has never wavered. I use medium for guitar, and heavy for bass (yes, I play bass with a pick, lol). I've tried other picks when I've played other people's guitars, but they never feel right, never deliver the proper attack or the proper sound. I'd recommend these picks hands down over any other picks.

Fit and finish "Perfect". The colors are to die for. I mean they have taken the classic medium tortuous shell and added to red color to them. Hey far out man! Anyway I just know I'm going to enjoy using these picks. They are long lasting unless you lose them. Oh yeah they got real mojo. "Know what I mean?" Now get you some of these picks and start enjoying some string picking bliss.
