It was a quality interface that I purchased. However, the latency that it produced in recordings was annoying in FL studio. It could have been my computer for all I know but I had the highest end computer specs and it was still delayed. Aside from that, it did the job and recorded the audio from the microphone I plugged into it. I'd recommend it to someone who is starting out with streaming or making music.

This product for single input use is the best. The price is reasonable, but the performance is outstanding. I purchased a cheaper product that malfunctioned within about seven hours.
The air function is excellent, but I don't need the process. I recently wanted to record a phone transaction, so I turned the gain up to 100% because the high-end quality wasn't necessary. To my amazement, the noise floor was below -65db. Wow! I need very little processing for voice-over between my sure mic and this USB interface. This unit is "crazy" great! I would recommend this one to my Mum! LOL.

So I had an old interface that was given to me as a present for Christmas. I noticed recently that it would cut out on me randomly. I’ve heard of the Scarlett interfaces before and i went for it and I love it. If I needed to I could bring it places easily because of its size. It just does the job. I’m fairly new to the whole recording stuff and this interface is pretty much a plug in and go. Highly recommend to anyone!

Once again American Musical Supply delivers the goods. When this unit arrived I was impressed with how well built it felt. I was also very happy with the amount of bundled software it came with. Super easy to set up and the quality is beyond my expectations. I was inspired to buy studio monitors to go with it from AMS as well. The only drawback is that while playing back the headphones being plugged in will not mute the monitors playing aloud.

I owned this before and it is awesome. The sound quality is great very simple easy to use. I would not look at any other company for an audio interface. Especially if you only need a couple of inputs. And one output for monitors. I eventually got the Mackie big knob studio Plus for my music room upstairs because I can set it up into two different monitors and it has all the inputs and outputs that I need. This one will be great for my secondary music setup which why I will use downstairs when I'm feeling lazy and what I want to watch TV and record music. I would not get any other brand I don't care how positive the reviews are for other ones. If you only need one input of each kind or two inputs which the 212 has, then I would get this company because it sounds excellent great quality

I have two AVID Mboxes that I have used for years. The Focusrite Solo 3rd Generation is so much better. I bought the Recording package with the CM25 MIC and Headphones at least half the cost of my MBOX mini and MBOX2. The Preamps are amazing, The MIc is great, the flat response headphones for mixing are very clear and The interface is very easy to install and set up. Most importantly the recording freq of 192KHZ gives you a very pristine recording for acoustic guitar and vocals. The other recording interfaces being sold in this price range are 96 kHz or 48 kHz.
The Air button gives your recordings a live sound which is very cool. The stock plugins are also good and there is enough for your mixing needs. It also comes with a Few free DAW options. You Can download free plugins, join the Focusrite plugin collective and start on a project within a few mins.

47 years old and never recorded without a board. I plugged this in to my laptop (windows) and it was super simple to use. I have also used it on my iMac, no problems. Super easy. I was really scared of the digital world, but now that I have used it, I wouldn't do it any other way.
I have recorded vocals with the XLR input and also used the 1/4" for my guitar.
I have read in some places that people couldn't get channel 2 to work unless something was plugged into the first channel but that was not the case for me. Maybe they didn't download the software for it or something? IDK.
This is an easy, straight forward unit. I haven't used any other digital equipment so I can not compare it. I bought it to go over some vocals and guitar parts that I recorded in a band 20 years ago. I am using a free program (Audacity) to mix everything and this interface worked perfectly for me to be able to do these touch-ups.

Focuswrong does not support their own gear. They don't support the m1 processor, and have not time table for when they will get around to it. Other companies do support the m1. Very rude customer service. Also, the 2nd pre amp broke within 2 years. Total garbage. Id buy gear from a company that stands behind their products.

The features that stood out on my purchase is the compatibility with my IPAD. I didn’t want to spend extra money just to practice my scripts. I also liked that it came equipped with editing software to make My recordings flawless. It’s easy to connect to my hub and mic. I’ve had it for 1 month and I don’t have any complaints. I have been shopping with AMS for years now, I bought my MPC Renaissance was it first was released was on the waiting and have been buying almost all my needs here since. Focusrite has always churned out reliable products, and this is no exception. The new Scarlett Solo has amazing preamps, an easy to understand interface, great esthetics, and a compact build that I was able to mount under my desk. Instruments sounded good (O recorded a guitar), and vocals were crisp and slightly warm. If you need a budget audio interface and don’t plan to record multiple instruments at the same time, you really can’t go wrong with this.

I'm running the Scarlett solo on 3 Windows based computers. Two older Intel I5 desktops and an AMD A8 laptop. The three computers have either Presonus studio 4, Abelton, and Protools (or some combination of each loaded) . They all recognized the Scarlett and worked perfectly regardless of which DAW I used. My condenser microphone works great. My guitar, straight in or with pedals, worked great. I've purchased musical equipment in the past and had buyers remorse. Not this time. So glad I chose Focusrite.

In my experience with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo, it has proven to be a solid, quiet, high fidelity interface. I appreciate that it is now USB-C, lending it an even much lower latency than my previous interface. Also cool: the DAWs that come with it. I now have several options to record music and beats. I highly recommend the Scarlett Solo, and look forward to getting the Scarlett 2i2 for my podcast.

The Focusrite Scarlett Solo, after the software installations, is easy to set-up with a computer, microphone, and instrument. The quality of the digital signal is excellent (I used Pro Tools). And the price for this unit (especially through American Musical with a discount code via Honey) makes this an excellent value compared to more costly units.

Great service from American Musical however to set up this product you are supposed to plug it in to your computer via USB and a screen should pop up to set up your device. That doesn't happen. So I went to their website. It wants you to set up an account. In doing that it would not accept my email address. After 3 hours of trying it finally accepted my email. You can easily download the drivers and software but for it to work you must register your product. It says the product serial number is 12-13 characters. My product serial number (printed on the back) is 14 characters so it will not accept my product registration. Without that the software will not work. So it's going back.

This is my 3rd interface. My first focusrite. By far the best one i’ve own. Under $100 I dont think theres another company that can beat that! I’ve been using it for a few months now and i dont feel like theres been a point where i feel like im limited. Since i only record guitar tracks myself, this is more than enough!

I have had this product since Dec 2019 and installation was easy. The resulting sound is glorious. I have spent more on my 1st recording interface which did not offer anything closer to this level of quality. This has zero latency and unreal sound and sleek design that you can take on the go anywhere. Overall this product this a 5 star interface you won't be disappointed meet my expectations for the price.

As a new audiobook narrator, I needed to update my equipment for better quality audiobooks, The Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Generation Interface has been a godsend. I had no idea what an Interface was when I ordered it. I just knew from my son and a fellow narrator that my audiobooks would be 10 times better plugging my microphone in the Interface. OMG. How true. I still am not sure what an Interface is, but I am learning. And the quality of my audiobook files are not 10x better they are 100% better. I have only had the Interface for a few days. I got an offer on the first audition I submitted using the Interface and my new soundproofed room. It's a huge difference in sound in a tiny package. It was also easy to set up, very reasonably priced, and shipping was fast. I love my new Interface. Now I am comfortable and much more satisfied with my recordings. Next will be a new microphone.

The solo version of focusrite's interface surprised me, it is very powerful for it's size. Nice clean preamp. The "air" function also works great to add a nice high end sparkle to recordings. Don't let the small size fool you, this interface can definitely perform with the big boys. Highly recommended.
