American Musical Supply delivers again in full spades with the Friedman ASC12. I received the FRFR speaker in (2) days from placing my order.
The Friedman ASC12 sounds great and produces awesome tone with warmth. The speaker paired with a Fractal Audio AX8 sounds warm and tube like. The harmonics just bloom and the speaker has the volume to cut through the mix with a full rhythm section.
It's a Frieman enough said for build and tone quality!!!
I have purchased a lot of gear from AMS and they are top shelf.
Thank you AMS for being a top shelf music store that delivered a Friedman ASC!@ to a highly satisfied customer.

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews on other sites & Youtube, this thing rocks. It covers all bases, from bedroom level to drop the ceiling and has finally put a huge smile on my face when using my Atomic AFB. I know a thousand bucks seems a bit much, but just lifting it tells you a lot.........it is quality through and through. I really can't say enough about this except this has been one of my best purchases ever!

There is a lot of headroom but this cab actually brings your tone to life, I prefer this cab to the other FRFR'S based on metal tones and my sound seems to translate perfectly now to other audio devices, if you have a modeler this is the best way to find your sound before hitting the studio. Hands down best purchase I've made in my tone quest.

My first thought was it was the actual size and weight of a 212 cab. Was looking for a small cab but full size sound. I plugged my Axe FX III in with an XLR cable, cranked up the cab volume, and tried out some presets with 4x12 cab IRs and WOW!!! This FRFR nails the big 4x12 cabs all the way down to the 6” , 10” and 12” 1x12 cabs. Makes my Mesa Mk II C++ with 4x12 sound huge and perfectly matches the Blues Jr w/1x12 (like the Blues Jr I actually had ). This cab will eliminate a lot of gear and gas I had for other amps and cabs. Friedman definitely nailed it with this FRFR class G amp/cab/speaker set up. This gets 5 stars despite the weight being close to a 212 cab. Well worth the little bit of heft for the tone and flexibility.
