I'm a working pro guitarist. I play typically 220-250 gigs per year. I've been doing lots of acoustic gigs but recently had more electric gigs come up.
After playing through high-quality tube amps for years, I decided to modernize a bit and go with some modellers for convenience and versatility.
I've tried some other PA style cabinets and they work well enough.. then one day shopping AMS I stumbled upon this beauty.
Looks like the coolest, classic high-end tube amp but underneath the hood its a a full range, flat response (FRFR) powered speaker. Friedman makes some of the highest quality guitar gear out there and this is no exception.
The first thing that you'll notice is the insane high quality build. REAL wood, beautifully constructed and vintage style grill.
XLR ins and outs and a bass cut that actually works! Phenomenal cabinet all the way around. A little pricey to be sure.. thanks to AMS for breaking up those no interest payments. It's a life saver for us working musicians.
The sound quality is phenomenal! So much better than some of my friends cheaper cabs. More than loud enough for live band with real drums. I'm gigging this thing everywhere.
Believe the hype, this thing rocks!

This powered monitor makes the modeling amps sound true to amp sound. Very warm, loud, and real amp sounds.
