Product Rating Product Review At least..in my opinion. I love the options that this pedals has. Not only do you have a 3 band EQ but the you also have the tight switch on the side to cut the bass, regardless of where the bass knob is set. Highly recommended

Product Review I own all three of the higher gain Friedman pedals. I love the Smallbox for 80's high gain tones and the BE-OD takes care of modern voiced chunka chunka. The DS run at 18 Volts is a beast. Keeping the mids around 9:00 allows punchy and definition of all of the notes of chords. Of my three Friedmans, I keep the gain the lowest with this box. It works with my Strat and my dual humbucker guitars. And like the amplifier, it takes other OD's and fuzzes into it REALLY well.

Product Review I'm using this with a Tele or Les Paul into clean tube amps run loud. It's been in my rig for maybe 4 months now. One stop shopping for higher medium to high gain rock tones. Full & natural sounding. Mid knob is boost only. Mids on zero is actually flat. If you want the scoopy scoop (I don't) look else where. If you're using a clean or cleanish amp & want touch sensitive, natural sounding, amplike dirt in the hot rodded Marshall camp, this is for you. Easiest way to dial it in is to set everything at noon & the mids at zero. bring up the mids to taste then fine tune the rest a bit. An internal trimpot offers further control of the gain range. I have a thorough play through / comparison video of the Dirty Shirley & the Andy Timmons Plus online. Search dear guitar episode 2 on youtube for the demo & some laughs.

Product Review i tried the be od ,sent it back because i already had close to that tone. i just got the filthy shirley and it is flippin' awesome, the presence does not get as gritty as a lot of pedals with presence, but it does cut the low end some when you max it.but killer british tone here for sure !

Product Review I looked at a lot of videos on YouTube to decide what I wanted for an overdrive distortion pedal almost made a couple of choices I'm very glad I did not. Pedal is awesome, as others have said I think it goes kind of right up to the point of being good for metal, probably better for old school metal and glam Hard Rock. Freddy thing heavier the beod will do the trick. That said you can adjust the gain on this pedal which is awesome it is very touch responsive I have been using it first day with the game that about 1 to 3 p.m. since the game on the pedals set to about halfway or so it feels good and sounds really good going right from soloing and playing single notes right back the chords sounds great for the kind of music I do which is not metal but I do rock out. For the money it is very much worth it I would say to look at comparison videos between this one and the beod to figure out which one you want more. If you doing really heavy music you probably want the other one if you're doing everything else this will be perfect and with the payment plans AMG comes through again great people great service thanks again!

Product Review This is by far the best overdrive pedal I’ve heard in 30 years of playing. It has as little or as much drive as any one would ever need ( with exception of hardcore metal). Well worth every penny !

Product Review Since I can't buy the head and cab I went for this dirty little thing. Yes I like dirty overdrive and this thing gives it 2 me and more. 70s and early 80s is what I'm into so I can't go wrong with this pedal.

Product Review I was looking at the be-od, when I saw the reviews of this, I bought it instead, and couldn't be happier. It's labeled as an overdrive, but easily has enough gain to put most distortion pedals to shame. For metal, it doesn't do the scooped mids thing, it does the boosted mids thing ( think slayer, but with more gain!). I love this thing.
