Nice, small, package.. with full and warm cleans, and with a little drive almost any sound is available. Have mine hooked up directly to the mixer, sounds amazing.

Great sounding amp overall! Very simple clean channel, and the gain goes from mildly broken up to modded Marshall territory. EQ controls are very responsive, and it's a blast to play through. Sounds awesome through either the matching 1x12 cab I have, or a 4x12 with Greenbacks!

If you're expecting to play metal right out of the box you will be disappointed, but this baby takes pedals so well and is as high quality as you can get for the price. I recommend!

I've owned a silver jubilee marshall before and this amp is in jcm 800 flavor. The Friedman has better cleans and a little more dirt. Amp loves boost pedals so far I'm hitting it with a mijnor (klon type pedal) from mythos and it sounds glorious. I highly recommend. It is s very loud amp for twenty watts.

This is the 2nd Friedman Ive tried, first was the muddy flubby Dirty Shirley Mini, and neither have impressed me at all. I just dont get why people like them. This one has No real sustain or tube quack, very generic tones, get an Marshall Studio 800 if you want an amazing Marshall tone. I evenfar prefer the PRS MT 15 set at low gain at half the price, very touch responsive for an under
1k amp, if only they would make a 50 watt version. And Soldano SLO 30 is the way to go if you want an American made just amazing sounding amp. Friedman will get no more of my business, returned this one after 2 days of trying it out, no thanks. Yes I am critical and I expect a lot from amps considering the prices they charge these days.

The cleans on this amp are beautiful, which is crazy for just one volume and a presents knob. I like to use my UA Ox Box with this so I can crank the clean channel to 11 and get that pure tube distortion. Speaking of distortion, the dirt channel is where this baby really shines. Hard to explain, like a JCM 800 and a plexi had a baby, and that’s just first gear on this channel, hit the switch and WOW. You have to try this amp out. You will fall in love with it.

Killer amp head. This thing sounds great for a 20 watt head. Great tone right out of the box. Downsizing my rig and this thing sounds as good if not better than my full size rigs. This is my first Friedman amp and well worth the purchase.

This is my second Friedman amplifier and like my Dirty Shirley 20w head, this will not disappoint you. The clean channel is amazing and with the three way voicing switch it easily takes you where you where you wanna go!! The Runt 20’s Over Drive channel will not disappoint either. It’s hard to dial in a bad tone. If your lookin for a versitale amp with a Clean and Dirty channel this amp is for you! It’s also so plenty loud enough to gig with. Buy yourself one and never look back!!
