Product Rating Product Review I received this amp a couple weeks back, I haven’t been able to stop playing. I’m in a decent sized touring alt rock band. I’ve struggled with getting that vintage 70’s Marshall tone with the reliability and consistency. Great clean tones, very fender based with a little more bass (no ear piercing) Dirty channel is a game changer! Keep on rockin’

Product Review very well crafted. the clean channel is crisp and offers 3 selectable voicing’s. the overdrive channel has plenty of growl and gain. perfect rock machine. i have this paired with a runt 2x12 cab. the 50 watts is more than enough for most rooms and i use this in my grunge tribute band exclusively.

Product Review Favorite amp in my studio at the moment. The clean channel is sweet and sparkling. The overdrive channel definitely has some nasty in it. Also, the xlr can simulator feature is a big plus in the studio. Plenty of options and tone on this head! 100% would recommend

Product Review Its tough for me to make big financial decisions, this being one of them. My local music shop doesn’t stock what I would consider to be boutique amps, and all of the online video reviews were decent at best. Not enough to convince me to buy one of these. It wasn’t until I heard one in person that I knew that this was it. The clean channel is big, loud, and dynamic. You can feel this amp behind you when you play it. There is a ton of headroom, and if you like pedals, this will blow you away. Even my cheap od pedals sound huge in front of this thing. The effects loop is great, perfectly balanced, very transparent. The bright switch is functional and makes a big difference in your tone. The overdrive channel is massive to say the least. Very useable amounts of gain, very dynamic, very big and powerful sounding. It’s easy to make this amp sound great, the versatility is very inspiring I haven’t used the xlr line out yet, but I imagine it’s great. If you’re on the fence, get off and get this thing. I was scared to spend so much, but it’s worth it.

Product Review I bought this amp thinking it was going to be great for hard rock and metal, and don't get me wrong it sounds pretty good for that style, but I ended up falling in love with the pristine and oh so bell like clean channel that has become my ONLY go to amp in the studio for anything clean. Vox and Fender have great AMPS, but the Runt really surprised me with how nice the clean channel is. It does any type of music, but a friend plays Jazz and soul music and he fell in love with its smooth tone as well. I own 40 different heads in my studio, but the Runt stands apart for me as THEE go to AMP for anything clean. I love this amp.

Product Review If you want any amp for rock n roll or metal that that punched you in the face when you play a chord then get the Friedman runt 50. This is the only amp that had made me go like "woah this is my tone."
