I put these in my RG8 and am 100% blown away by the clarity in the low end, and the versatility when wired with a 5 way switch and a push/pull tone pot. The tonal possibilities feel endless.

Excellent sound and versatility. I can have crisp cleans and bone crushing distortion. I love the multi-voice capabilities with the push-pull knobs.

Installation can cost you more if you don't research what guitar and pickups are being swapped. they sound absolutely amazing and cover such a wide range of tones installed in an Ibanez using his preferred wiring. if your current guitar has passive pickups and no 9V slot installation will cost more when wood working is involved. Put this here for those just buying these with the mind set that you just unplug old pickups and plug in the new ones, if you are not a professional i recommend you pay to have them installed by one.

There is a Huge difference in tone from the stock rg8 pickups.these are worth getting rather than spending more money on a new 8 string.

Clear, no hum, articulate, quality, definite difference in the bridge & neck characteristics, a bit of careful soldering required to make all the connections to the pots but overall no prob, feeding a fractal it's all tone...
