Got this to carry an MX88 for local gigging. I have a Gator hard case, but it is a little cumbersome for local travel. The soft case seems to be a good choice for short travel as it seems sturdy enough for small trips and not as difficult to handle.

This bag comes with a system that holds my yamaha modx6+ inside it, not letting it loose even if the keyboard is a little smaller than the bag and at the same time has enough space in the extra pocket to store pedals, notebooks, power source and I suspect it will fit one more 49 key keyboard.

Got these two bags for my keyboards and they are well built and tough against the travel. easy to close and the inside straps are so wide and secures the units from moving while transporting. I had players wanting to buy them from me but no way. it was a great buy. I love em. The pockets outside the case are nice and long as well, you can fit your lose items in there from books to laptop no to mention the room you have inside the bag. like I said a great buy.

Sure-that doesn't sound real exciting from a marketing standpoint - but what's exciting about a gig bag? Or, would you rather be excited about having damaged several thousand dollars worth of keyboard? One gig for me without a bag for my arranger (which is out of production now) had me looking for some travel protection and this Gator Bag fit the bill. It's a generic universal size for most 61 keys, so double check your measurements for adequate fit. There's excess width for my Casio which I plan to fill with either original packaging or some cut foam for a good final snug fit. Either way, my next trip out will be less of a worry. Exterior zipped pouch is roomy with cargo net slot for more stuff. Interior has double velcro bands to hold unit in place - a good feature. Constructed of durable materials with reinforced carry handle strapping.

This little bag is sweet! It fits my mini synth and my little bass synth well. It has a generous size pocket for cables and adapters. It also has a convenient shoulder strap. I’ve had great luck with gator cases in the past. Well made ans not overpriced.

I just received my Gator GKB gig bag for my Yamaha P 125 and I just love it's heavy construction, zippers and padding. The bag is way better that what is offered by other manufactures with it's internal velcro padded straps to hold the piano safely in place when being transported or stored. The rubberized feet make it possible to stand on it edge while still protecting the content of the bag. I own other Gator products and I have always been impressed with the quality of materials, design and manufacture, all my Gator bags are like brand new and so are the instruments they protect. I would highly recommend their products to anyone who wants a reasonably priced gig bag to protect your instruments.

While I am happy with my case, I believe there is room for improvement. The straps that secure the keyboard in the case are not adjustable. As a result, My Nektar LX88+ moves around freely. I would like to see the straps redesigned so they are adjustable.

I bought this keyboard Gig Bag for a 32 channel Mackie Mixing Console. It serves the purpose well with the addition of some foam padding. I couldn't find a hard case or soft case for it due to it's age. Sometimes you just have to improvise!! Thanks AMS for helping me out!!

This is a heavy duty, well padded bag that I purchased to protect a VERY expensive (and heavy) 88 key keyboard, and with my experience with other Gator products, I knew this would be fine. And it is. Granted, not as much fun as buying a new instrument or effect box, but the case is often overlooked when buying a quality instrument. Spend the money and get one. Protect your investment.
Seams are sewn well, and the nylon material will last for years. I owned a few other Gator cases of various types and they all held up well. Quality is never an issue with Gator, in my opinion. I like them.
The bag is padded fairly well, and the internal straps are well thought out and keep the keyboard secure. I would like to see extra carry straps on either end so 2 people can carry, but the one handle it has in the middle is heavy duty.
It is much less than other similar bags from other companies but more than others. However, quality is good, so the price and value is spot on. Also, I looked in several local music stores before buying from AMS. They had the same bag but were more expensive. I purchased from AMS and saved $20.00 over the local stores. And it was here the next day.

Big ole main compartment and smaller compartment for cables, power supplies and such, good padding, that's enough feature for me :)
The zippers might be too tough for beginners, you have to pull them yourself. But if you have any experience, this shouldn't be too tough to handle.
Zippers sounded a bit tinny. But that's ok. Was hoping for a more analog tone, but it's definitely passable.
Action on the... zippers? Very good :P

There are several extra storage pockets for accessories on the outside of the bag. And, there are velcros straps on the inside in order to securely keep your keyboard in place.

I am very pleased with my purchase of two of these cases. I have purchased other brands of cases on this site before and they literally fell apart in about two weeks.... especially the zippers on the bags. They were terrible. Thus far, this product has held up very well.
I consider the design of this case to be it's best feature, followed by heavy duty materials that are so important for the protection of a keyboard. If I were to make an improvement to the case, I would add a velcro strip to wrap around the handles to keep them together when in transit. The handles flop down on either side of the case when not being carried, and then when you need to grab the case and go... you have to stop and fish for each handle and put them together to carry the case. That part I found rather annoying.
The case has two wide velcro belts inside of it to hold your keyboard stationary when in transit.

Hard cases are seriously expensive. Thus far, I have found this case to be the very best alternative to a hard shell case for my keyboards.
