Great Protection for Yamaha Revstar

Product Review I liked the Yamaha RSS02T that I bought from AMS last year so much that I bought another Revstar, RSE20. Since the RSE20 ships without a gig bag, I turned to the Gator Transit. In comparison this gig bag is even nicer than the gig bag that came with the RSS02T. It fits well, has plenty of storage, and offers solid protection. The red microfiber lining looks great against either Revstar. This will be the gig bag I use whenever we leave the house.

Product Review Excellent gig bag-it's actually rigid, and plenty of cushioning. Got it for a Sterling Cutlass (Music Man), a strat-stylr guitar, and it fits well. The bottom has a removable foam block to accommodate slightly larger, odd models, but I would say nothing thicker than a Les Paul or curved back like a 335 or the like.

Product Review I needed A new gig bag for my guitar that I just bought. It looked like it was a good purchase so I took a chance and I bought it through American Music Supply. I have to tell you, this gig bag is better than some of the gig bags that these retailers give you with your $1000 guitars. It’s solid has plenty of room for storage and it’s easy to carry. Great purchase

Product Review I was looking for a better gig bag than came with my PRS Vela. I wanted one with a neck support and thicker padding. I have a Mono M80 acoustic gig bag and a Mono Vertigo electric gig bag and this has a lot of the features of those bags. The Mono cases do provide more protection but the Transit has everything I was looking for. It has lots of pockets for storing stuff and is lighter than the Mono cases. It has a pocket on the back to store the backpack straps which I really like. I wish the Mono Vertigo case had that option. The Mono M80 has a pocket for storing the backpack straps also. The Transit gig bag is great for around town protection.

Product Review I bought this for my Schecter Tempest Custom. Wider bottom. Than a Les Paul. I hadn't bought a gig bag in 20 years when I saw the price it made me think twice. But for the price kf the Tempest and they didn't have the Schecter case for that model. So I bought this one. And man what a nice bag. Pocket storage for days. The interior has a neck support pad so your fiddle is not resting on the headstock and tuners. There is also a high density pad for the bottom at the strap buttom keeping it from punching through when stored vertical. I will continue to buy all things Gator.

Product Review There are more expensive more protective cases but this case at $109 provides very very good protection. I recommend anyone looking for a great gigbag to check one of these out before settleing on any gigbag, especially at this price point

Product Review Thick firm padding and a good fit to a typical solid body electric guitar (PRS S2 McCarty Thinline in my case). It is a huge upgrade to the factory PRS S2 gig bag. The overall bag when zipped closed empty has a bit of stiffness which I like. The main pouch zips and has a buckle flap. I like leaving it unzipped using the buckle to store and get quick access to larger items such as cables and a strap. There are two other small zipper pouches perfect for strings and picks. The back straps store in a rear zipped pouch which is handy for me since I rarely use them and it keeps neatly out of the way. AMS shipped it nicely boxed and got out the same day it was ordered.

Product Review Got this for my daughter to take her guitar to school and back for jazz band. This is as close to a hard case without being a hard case as it could be. It is so protective and plush that any fear of damage is mitigated. Great case and as always outstanding service from American Musical Supply!

Product Review This is my first expensive-ish gig bag. I've always used sub-$50 bags. And I have to say this thing is really really nice. It looks good, it feels good, the padding is thick. It has a feel thats firm yet somewhat plush at the same time. The zippers appear to be good quality zippers that wont break any time soon. This has really improved my confidence for traveling with my electric guitars either on the road or by plane when I can get it into an overhead bin. The exterior dimensions are nice as well it's not an overly fat gig bag. It would definitely be possible to take this on a plane as a carry on with any airline that has a good reputation for being accommodating with instruments. It's a great bag and is worth the money. I will probably purchase a second one some time in the future.

Product Review Very nice bag. Holds your guitar securely inside and has sufficient padding. There’s also tons of storage, especially compared to most other gig bags I’ve used in the past.
