I use Graph Tech TUSQ XL nuts on everything. I’ve replaced every nut I have with these, and I’ll never use another. They stay in tune better, have more sustain, and sound better than everything I’ve used. They’re also very easy to fit and install!

So I failed to properly research and thought this would work on the Mascis Jazzmaster that I ordered at the same time. It does not as the Mascis needs the “flat-bottom” fender nut. No doubt this is on par with all the other graph-tech products I have used, so it you have the curved but slot on your Fender, I’d order yesterday!!

Everytime I acquire a stratocaster or a telecaster I order a Graph Tech Tusq Nut from AMS because I know from experience my Fender style guitar is going to stay in tune and perform how I need it too on stage or in the studio. Don’t settle for a plastic nut when you can easily and cheaply replace it with the Graph Tech TUSQ nut!! It’s an easy switch and you can do it yourself and only takes about 15 minutes to do!!

I recently installed this nut upgrade on a Telecaster build, so far the guitar has a noticeably improved tonal quality. It required very little sanding to size up. I am pleased with this product and will be adding this to every guitar that I own.
