I bought these for my Classic Vibe 70's Stratocaster and they absolutely drop right in. These are some of the absolute best locking tuners out there and of course AMS made it super easy! Each tuner has its own gear ratio so the only thing you have to do is follow the numbered placement of each one. Your low E will be #6 A will be #5 and so on. And each tuner is numbered that way. It's a bit of an investment but it's so very worth it as they will drop in just about any electric guitar. Get yours from AMS and I guarantee you'll be glad you did"

This is the third time I have invested in GraphTech Ratio tuners for my guitars. Each string is geared in its own way to make tuning fast and effortless. The locking mechanism is smooth and allows for quick string changes and I personally have never experienced string breakage at the post. They are lightweight and attractive tuners. Installation is a breeze and their InvisoMatch plates fill any screw holes your existing tuners may have required for alignment.
Ratio tuners, like all GraphTech gear, are relatively affordable and provide benefits well beyond their price point. You can’t go wrong with these Ration tuners.

Purchasing the Graphtech Ratio 6 in line locking tunners was truly one of the best purchases I've ever made! The product simple works!!I changed out all 6 strings in less then 10 minutes, and my guitar simply seems to always hold tune.
I absolutely love them and will be purchasing a set for every guitar I own..Graphtech made a believer out of me...Rock on brothers & sisters!

I love these Graphtech ratios so much! The quality is outstanding and the different gear ratios on each string are a game changer! I’m not sure if the locking feature is necessary but it sure makes changing strings easier so I like it.

I have a 2018 Squier Standard Series Strat. These Tuners dropped right into my headstock with no modification required. Tuner Peg Hole and the 2 pin-holes all matched up perfectly without having to use the provided adapters.
If you have a Squier Bullet or Affinity Series guitar you might have to ask for support on picking the right model tuners since those models have a smaller tuner peg hole.
I'd like to give a Shout Out to Alex Gerlitz support@graphtech.com for assisting me in determining the correct model locking tuners from Graph Tech that would best fit my Squier guitar.

Tuning is very positive, half turn, half step. Great
2 weeks and no real problems, however I had a problem
with my string tree, while loosing my E and B strings I broke my E re tuning. Twice. I think the bend was too sharp, I had only about 1/2 turn at the tuning peg. I added more slack when tuning my E string, 1 and a half turns on the peg, and can now loosen it enough to work with out breaking it.
These have been one of the best improvements ever.

I'm a 'stickler' for being in, and Staying in tune when playing my guitar and have been since I first started playing in bands way back in 1974. The first thing that I normally do is replace the machine heads on any new guitar that I buy. Over the years I've replaced stock 'tuners' on dozens of guitars, including Les Pauls, Stratocasters, Teles, Ibanezes, etc... When I got my new Fender American Professional Strat last year, it was no different, the stock tuners were 'ok', but not quite up to my satisfaction. I typically buy Sperzel locking machine heads, or Grovers, but I'm Always on the lookout for something 'newer and better'.
Well, I can say without hesitation that these Graphtech Ratio machine heads are 'Better' than any I've ever had! The low E has a 39:1 ratio making it easier than Ever to achieve the perfect tune without all the up and down usually encountered when tuning. You can very precisely tune up to pitch without going sharp! Each string has a ratio that is catered to the basic diameter of the string. I'm going to get another set for my 'Chris Shiflett' Telecaster Deluxe that I purchased from AMS last month!!! I highly recommend these machine heads!

Building my version of a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster and wanting to use the finest I looked to this item as being the very best.
Not often we see new innovations in guitar tuners however these Graph Tech Ratio Tuners deliver. The aesthetics are impressive and the included universal mounting brackets are a nice addition also. The true worth however is the design innovation of allowing each strings ratio matched to its core diameter making tuning quicker and more precise. Although on the pricey side they compare price wise to other elite models and do more. I am very impressed as are my gear head friends. You will be too.
