I know it can be difficult to find the right case for certain guitars and, while a lot of websites profess to do so, it's definitely not easy. This case, which is spectacular and worth the money, fits a Gretsch G5220 single cut guitar. It's snug and the case is very protective. It's probably the best hard case I've got of the five I own.

Great case for my gretsch 5230t. I do have to turn the bigsby bar so that it's pointing towards the bottom of the guitar in order for the case to close, wich is no big deal. Love this case!!

This is a fantastic guitar case! It fits both my single cut and double cut Gretsch Jets like a glove! I really like the interior, it's very soft and the oversized compartment is very helpful! This case is sturdy, well built and offers great protection for my guitars, for both at home and on the road. I've had this case for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I would like to purchase another in the very near future!

Don't mess around and buy a after-market case that "fits" your Gretsch guitar "perfectly". Buy the actual case that was designed for your guitar. You've already pulled the trigger and bought your Gretsch, now buy the Gretsch case that not only cradles your investment, but also has the gravitas of the Gretsch logo.

I bought this for a Gretsch G2215 and it fits like a glove. Solid construction and interesting padded interior (grey shag). Would be suitable for gigging but I don't know if I would feel safe with baggage handlers.

My Gretsch 6238FT guitar case puts not only my new Gretsch solid body in a safe place, but my other Gretsch's with a bigsby fit in as well. Very solid, well padded soft interior fits the guitar with no wobble room. Latches seem very durable as well. Enough room in the "pocket" for a to go pedal, and a tuner. A very nice case for the money.

I've toured for many years as a keyboardist and/or bassist. There's one thing I learned to NEVER compromise on...protecting your investments! As a keyboardist, all my boards were protected in hard cases; ALWAYS! Even if I moved it from one room to another, it went in the case. My band would often joke that it was like being on a funeral detail; as we were all of military-service.
Those same standards applied to my basses and probably even more critically.
But after all these years, I finally got the nerve to try my hand at guitar. It took me a while to settle on a guitar and one of those factors was an axe that had the option for a "fitted case".
I am very pleased with the build of this case! It is NOT a flight case, but it is well-made for medium duty usage. It fits the guitar so we'll, that I had to squeeze my cleaning cloth in. You will not find a better fit for your investment. If you're not planning to do extensive travel, but need to protect your money, this is it!
I am very pleased with both my choice in first guitar AND the case!
I'm a noob to rhythm guitar, but a seasoned pro when it comes to quality and instrument protection!

The Gretsch hard shell guitar case is the perfect compliment for my new Gretsch Electromatic guitar. The fit is perfect, no sliding around in the case like some lesser quality cases. Extremely well made and looks great, exactly what you’d expect from something with the Gretsch name on it. I couldn’t be more pleased with this case and I highly recommend it.

This case fits my Gretsch Dbl Jet w/Bigsby like a glove. Fit and finish is excellent, there is plenty of internal storage and ample padding to protect the guitar. Some guitar cases are overkill: too much case for the guitar. this case is just right!!

Very pleased! This is a quality professional case, good and sturdy, and a perfect fit for my new Gretsch G5230T Electromatic Jet FT guitar. Very plush lining, good construction, with 5 latches. And I like the fact that the neck part of the case is good and wide, with the guitar neck snugly protected inside, because the width makes for a wider storage compartment that I can actually put a few things in. Good design. I like it, and my guitar likes it too!

This case is a perfect fit for my new Silver Jet! Both the case and the gig bag for this particular guitar are hard to come by. Just about every online store has them on back order. Grab one if you can because your Gretsch guitar deserves nothing less but the best case!
