OK AMS OUT DID THEMSELVES I HAD ORDERED OTHER GUITAR AND DID NOT LUV IT ...IT WAS JUST NOT RIGHT FOR ME.
TOLD AMS THEY SAID SEND IT BACK AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED...SO I SENT IT BACK AND BOUGHT THIS ONE INSTEAD. IT WAS ON ITS WAY BACK AND NEW ONE ON ITS WAY TO MY HOME ...WOWZER GREAT JOB AMS...IT ARIVED ON TIME AS PER SAY ALL GUITARS I ORDER WITH AMS. THEIR PROGRAMS ARE GREAT AND NEVER HAD TROUBLE WITH THEM AND LUV MY NEW GUITAR ITS RIGHT FIT FOR ME. AMS IS THE BEST WAY TO BUY IN THE MARKET TODAY AND VERY COMPETIVE ON PRICING. THEY HAVE GREAT FINANCE PROGRAMS YOU CAN NOT BEAT FOR IF YOU GET A EXPENSIVE GUITAR AND NOT HAVE ALL MONEY UP FRONT TOO. BOUGHT 2 GUITARS AND NOW THINKING OF ANOTHER IN FUTURE. Just received this badboy and it’s safe to say I haven’t put it down in the last 3 hours! I was skeptical as its my first Gretsch but I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Here’s my impressions: The fit and finish is FLAWLESS. The neck is a vintage “v” which is super comfortable especially if you’re a “thumb over” player like me (It fills my hand just a little less than my 2018 Les Paul Traditional). The TV Jones Filter’Tron pickups have amazing note separation and definition even under high gain which I wasn’t getting from my Les Paul. I also really dig the “mud switch” over a regular tone knob! It’s all about having new and fresh sounds and this Duo Jet sits somewhere between my LP and Tele. Overall I’m mad impressed, the guitar seems well balanced and it’s a pleasure to play, and yes it basically makes me sound better than I am. Bonus! I wouldn’t hesitate to get another guitar from AMS. This is my second one and both have arrived setup, in perfect condition and ready to play. Cheers

Better than I had hoped, it really is basically flawless. The TV Jones pick ups are so lush, but still retain a treble edge and that famous touch of twang. My favorite thing overall is that, even under distortion I can hear every note. I had also never played an ebony fretboard before and I can tell you it's like an old friend. It's really going to wear beautifully.

Great quality instrument, I am still getting used to this instrument. It has all the qualities I was looking for classic,tone,performance and appearance. I rank it right up there with my Ricks and Fenders.
