After carefully researching all the bass amps in the price range, I chose the Hartke Half Stack. It's everything all the ads said that it would be.
It's loud! I mean really loud. The tube front end is apparent when the signal is pushed and it has a smooth break-up, but at the same time has plenty of headroom to stay super clean at insane volumes.
No drummer can stand up to this thing. It's loud enough for metal but smooth enough for jazz. You can dial in a plethora of bass tones from vintage to modern.
The only negative thing I can say about this amp is that it's a little heavy. But with an amp this powerful, that is to be expected.
I've worked as a backline technician for years and played semi-professionally as well. This amp is worth every penny and more.

LH1000 Hartke is excellent! Paired with my Hartke 410 is enough sound any place I play. The sound is amazing! The options to pair with other Hartke bass cabinet's is even more sound and more powerful. Clean high,s ,mids, and low,s. Recommend it as a high quality bass rig.

For all my bass payers out there, I now there are many bass amp companies out there but nothing gets close to the durability and ruggedness of a Hartke! Sorry not sorry! It’s the truth! You can literally dial in any sound your looking for from Motown deep bass to Heavy Metal high gain, right down to the Clanky slap tone! This beast has it all. And can I confess something to ya.........I dropped it one time me saw my life flash before my eyes! Propped it back, plugged it in and walla! It worked as if nothing happened. I’m sorry but you can’t say that about any other brand out there! So I’m happy and staying with the Hartke family! All I wanna know is........who’s coming with me!!!?

A great product with greater quality! I've had my Harke HD410 for a couple of months now and it has far from exceeded my expectations. I use my HD410 to play gigs with my band monthly, and record tracks for songs I'm working on. As a punk rock artist I would greatly recommend the HD410 because of it's sound quality and equalizing capabilities. I love being able to change the tone of my bass with a couple adjustments. One feature I enjoy is the Limiter, it's a great way to mask some higher tones and really bring out the lower tones of the bass. This amplifier has helped me a lot threw my musical career as a bass player and song writer and I look forward to using other Harke products in the future. A good bass player deserves a great amp, and this amp exceeds all expectations.

Ive played Hartke Amps and Cabinets for 15 years.
The power of these two units together is exactly what i was looking for. I tried other cabinets n amps before purchasing these. I put my good faith in trusting the Hartke brand. It was the perfect time to buy new Hartke gear, and I could not be happier.
