It allows you to sync both tracks if you don't feel like mixing yourself. I love the effects, including the samples I can put in and the rolls. I had it for about a month now. I don't like how it can't connect to my brand new laptop speakers. It meets my expectations for now until I become a more advanced DJ. The features that stand out for me is the auto assist button that labels each song by energy and key. It is fun without being expensive.

Great Hardware for Beginner, DJuced leaves a bit to be desired

First, AMS is great. There's that's out of the way. A little context: I'm an amateur DJ that used to be a pro 20-ish years ago when CDs were just becoming big. I've been playing with controllers (including a Numark MixTrack Pro, Behringer CMD 4A, DDJ-RB, etc) for the past few years. I decided to try out this InPulse 300 because it looked like a great controller for the price.
Unfortunately, FedEx treated the box like a linebacker treats a running back, and it was damaged in shipping. I still used the device for about 4 hours with DJuced and the hardware itself was great. The little hints from the Beatmatch system were great for starters, the performance pads felt good, and for the money, I think these may be the best platters on the market. I did miss having detents on the tempo sliders and crossfader, and the FX knobs were VERY touchy. I found the Intelligent Mixing Assistant to be more of a nuisance than a help, but overall, for the money, great controller.
The DJuced software included is the reason for a star being knocked off. Honestly, I think you'd find better use from Mixxx (an open-source software) than you would from DJuced. What's really funny is that with VirtualDJ (I tried it with this controller), there was virtually no controller lag, but with DJuced, there was just enough to make it nearly impossible to match beats.
For a starting DJ, I'd recommend this controller highly, but use different software. (FWIW, I did return this due to the slight damage and decided to get a Roland DJ-202 instead, as I had a little extra change and I wanted both the sequencer and the full Serato Pro license. I'll provide a review on that once I receive it.)

Love this simple yet very functional controller. I bought it for my backup and practice sessions but have used it in place of my Numark ns6 at some gigs
