I have purchased 2 if these and they both arrived damaged. The packing is not adequate for an item this size. The box is very thin cardboard, and there is not any protective material inside. The first one I got had a bent handle and had to be returned, the second one came with a bent crank, broken off handle, and a bent leg. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if there was any way to get spare parts and got told that they do not warrant against shipping damage and do not sell parts. Also it will be roughly 3 months till more are in stock. When I mentioned that the issue was due to the bad packing I was informed by the person that “he does not make the packing material decisions in customer service”. While I know this is true I was hopeful that he might have passed the word up the chain. If the retailer is eating the cost for every damaged stand due to packing I don’t see how or why they would keep selling them. Do yourself a favor and get a different brand that offers customer support, and packaged better, or makes a more sturdy product to survive shipping.
