I have purchased a number of acoustic guitars from AMS; mostly Gibson, Martin and Yairi in the one to two thousand range. I wanted a travel guitar that is better than your ordinary advertised "travel guitar", so liked the specs and bought this one. Sorry, but this $500 guitar was immaculate. Could find no workmanship problems what so ever. Action was very high as should be expected as every player should set up to their playing style.
I have two Martin's, two Gibson's, and two Alvarez Yairi's. Except for my CEO-7 and J-45 this guitar sounds and plays better than the rest. Not as important, but this guitar is a looker. I love it.
Darn, now I have to find a travel guitar.

Product Review
The guitar top is beautiful, has an agate stone look, big waves and symmetrical shapes. The surface is deep pores. Overall sound is very musical, clear, bright. It's hard to believe this level of quality for the asking price.
