Excellent craftsmanship outstanding tone and playability a little on the heavy side but nothing you couldn't deal with I would highly recommend it for somebody looking for a great quality Base for a person who is looking to not spend a whole ton of money

Everything about this Bass is awesome. Right out of the box the set up was perfect and playability was smooth. The materials, hardware, strings, etc
we're all high quality with a great feel and even better
looks ! So like I said, it's an AWESOME BASS! I would strongly recommend this bass to anyone looking to step up to a
5 string ! It's not only a great instrument, it's a piece of art.

I had no idea until I was getting ready to buy a new bass that Ibanez even made Basses beyond the beginners bass much less creating basses that claim your heart and soul! I have fallen in love with this BTB and it is actually addictive because it plays so well and sounds amazing! AMS was also an extremely Easy dealer to work with and giving me the payment plan I wanted no questions asked! I love their website selection as I do often browse it within a dreamy wishlist only i know when I’m ready, AMS will be there to assist in attaining my dream gear! Thanks to American Musical Supply for giving me the bass that already has reinvented me!

My wife got me this beauty after our meet and greet with Les Claypool and Primus. The Ibanez BTB745 5 String Bass guitar is completely amazing bass with such beautiful
wood work. Combined into one makes it amazing. Just wish I had it when we met Les Claypool. So beautiful and such high quality piece of wood that produces such beautiful music. Seems to be in harmony with it sound quality and incredible quaility of wood work the Ibanez is worth its weight in Bass. I am blown away with the 5 String, I can't seem to put it down. Unless it is for my EVH Wolfgang Special, but even EVH has been taking a backseat to the BTB745. It is incredibly heavy duty and such a beautiful instrument with such high quality wood work. It is such a wonderful, high quality, and beautiful Bass

This bass is superior in every way; tone, diversity, setup, action, look and feel.
But HOLY MOLY if you're looking for a lightweight bass, I'd steer clear of this one. BTB might as well stand for "big thicc boi" with a massive 35 inch scale length neck which is also very wide, and a formidable weight that you notice as soon as you pick it up. I wouldn't recommend this behemoth to beginners or guitar players exploring the bass world simply because of its stature, but to experienced bassists this will prove to be a powerful ally in your low end arsenal.

The bass I’ve been playing since 2004 is the BTB405, I’ve bought other basses and sold them over the years because nothing compares, I just purchased the BTB745 and I am very satisfied with this one, the BTB series are by far the best basses, satisfaction the second you plug them in, easy to play and big improvement on the sound. You won’t gonwrong with this bass, honestly it’s worh more than the cost...

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend - a surprise ! He absolutely loves it , so much so that after playing it for about a month or so he decided to name the instrument after his grandmother who recently had passed .
The sound is great and the picture does not do this beauty justice !
It will be a bass he holds onto for the rest of his life and I am just so glad that the quality of this piece lives up to it all!
