Bought this for my 5 year old, he had been using a 3 string Loog and wanted to start learning a 6 string. But I enjoy playing it too! Very impressed with the quality of the guitar for the price point. Could see this being an excellent travel guitar for anyone, and for the price, how could you go wrong. He’s played it every day since it showed up, he’s proud to have a “real” guitar now.

I wanted a decent little guitar for my grandson that he could play and this one fits prefect for the little guy and sounds good for him to learn on but did not cost a lot. It has decent sound too.

I purchased 4 of these guitars so that my 3 son's and I could all learn to play together. I have really small hands so full sized guitars were always extremely difficult for me to play which was very discouraging and ultimately why I never learned. The overall size on this guitar is perfect, it's got a beautiful sound, and the craftsmanship is wonderful on all 4 of them. All four of us love learning to play on this awesome little guitar and are extremely satisfied with them! I would recommend purchasing this particular guitar, from American Musical Supply, to anyone who is looking for a first guitar for their kids or if they have little hands like myself not only for the amazing price, great service and super fast delivery,but for the quality and sound of it as well. It's an awesome guitar, we love it!!

I bought this guitar for my very small 7 year old. So far it has held up nicely and plays beautifully. It is durable as most Ibanez instruments. The thin neck makes it easier for small hands to play. It is definitely a worthy buy for the price.

After reading reviews of 1/2 size guitars and finding the raves about the Ibanez I bought it for my grandson's 8th birthday. I'm very impressed with the high quality build and tone. The strings are fine and it tunes easily. Fingerboard and frets are perfect, too. You can't go wrong on this.
