Product Review I recently started to play the guitar, however I have small hands/fingers. I struggled practicing on my son's flying v. He had suggested that I purchase a 3/4 and he sent me the link. It's perfect! I'm 46 and just learning to play! I would not have been able to play without this guitar!

Product Review I would rather pay 200 for one that's more playable but I guess it doesn't hurt to work on things yourself once in awhile. Out of the box, it sounds bad cant even play a chord without it feeling like a toy. Hard as hell to tune it and once you do it doesn't stay in tune. Ive read this from reviews that this can happen so I wasn't suprised. Going to change the strings. The high e string fret buzzes really bad as well a few bad intonations/dead spots. Going to change the strings and then play around with a bit try and make it playable. The pickups are their stock, not bad at all for 150 dollar guitar. My only issue with this guitar is... its meant for beginners and needs a lot of work that a beginner could easily screw up. Recently purchased a 200 dollar Jackson which was set up perfectly, I would rather spend more money for a guitar which is easy to play out of the box but there are none this size. Bought for my 5 year old son. He likes it but doesn't really know any better :p If it had been playable out of the box and didn't need new strings and an a massive action/intonation adjustment id say 5 stars all day long. Even if it were more expensive and wasn't perfectly tuned all the time. Fret edges are fine. My Jackson is much sharper, Ibanez is very good with fret edges on their budget models not perfect but have not gotten sliced by an Ibanez ever.

Product Review I bought this guitar for my son and my daughter to learn how to play it is three-quarter size and his perfect size for my six-year-old in my 14-year-old. It does have trouble staying in tune but on the bright side it does give my children the opportunity to learn how to tune correctly and listen for the pitch. The neck is slender easy to maneuver body style is slim and sleek paint is awesome. Very happy with this purchase even with the tuning and would recommend for starters or for traveling on a tour bus for the size.

Product Review I have tried short scale guitars from every major company. The first thing to look for in short scales is accurate tuning. Higher ratio pegs are needed, and Ibanez has the best. They also sends DETAILED instructions in their owners' manual, so you can learn to set your own action, etc. 24 frets is a feature not seen in any of the competitors, either. I am not so fussy about pickups, but the miKro has quality there too, with some slightly hot, nice sounding humbucks. Others models may save you a few bucks, but Ibanez has packed this little thing with a truckload of features not seen anywhere else. Feels good, sounds good, looks great, well made, and like most short scale guitars,an incredible buy. I love all my shorties, but this one is just the all around best.

Product Review This is a great little guitar. My son is really enjoying his lessons now that he has something his size. It was set up pretty nicely right out of the box- much better than the last guitar I bought for myself, which was much more expensive. The guitar sounds awesome--my son plays metal. And it looks every bit as cool as an Ibanez shredder. It's a quality instrument--not sure you could do much better in terms of quality for $150, for anything! Highly recommended!

Product Review I would think that this guitar is as good as my GRG20 Ibanez that i have. I will get this guitar as soon as possible and only because i love the color purple and the maple neck and REALLY stands out between the two. You do not see very many purple guitars and i think it would be something different for that certain color that you do not often even think about for a guitar. I do like maple necks and it gives it more of a brighter sound and smoother playing when going up and down the neck. Very nice indeed and I love Ibanez guitars with a passion.

Product Review My Gio Mikro has a beautiful black finish.I could not find any blemish on it. I suspected that it was a return due to unplayability. I could not get the notes at the first fret of the first and second strings. They were F# and C# at both the first and second frets. The usual action/intonation/truss rod adjustments accomplished nothing. The fix? I replaced the factory .009-.042 strings with D'Addario EXL115 medium guage .011-.049 strings. The guitar responded well to this. The bad spots and fret buzzes went away and it STAYS IN TUNE. I now enjoy playing it daily. The manual that comes with the guitar lists .009-.042 as the manufacturer-recommended guage for this guitar, so I don't know if there are any warranty issues. All I know is that the string change made a huge improvement.

every bit as good as an rg series and i prefer the fixed bridge never had to do one bit of work to it i have a video on youtube of me playing it youtube.com/tfsongwritingco Your general opinion of this product. only thing cheap about this product is the price! the sharktooth inlays are awesome looking, 24 frets is great most of my guitars have 22, when i bought this they offered it in red has a genuine rg feel. you dont notice its a couple inches shorter fast playing, heavy distortion from pickups no background hum when not playing professional paint job looks hot when playing especially accented with shark tooth inlays the neck is fast intonation is great you cannot tell this is a bargain guitar all the attributes of a thousand dollar ibanez(except floyd rose but i dont care for floating bridges i always block them and throw out my whammy bar)

This guitar is great I'm truly impressed with Ibanez good quality. If it were stolen I'd buy another fast. Good no problems with anything at all Your general opinion of this product. I love this guitar well made good quality. This is my first Ibanez and I'm sold I'll be getting more.I see why lots of people rave about them necks are awesome thin and flat as well as fast.Very comfortable neck.I also read lots of reviews and did my reasearch too.I played it a yr. ago before buying.I couldn't be happier. fast, flat neck and so comfortable to play. The fret ends arn't sharp at all and I got mine online. It's light but no toy. tone is kinda muddy but good great distorion and ok cleans.Pickups are good for stock and this is a loud guitar. Great no flaws or anything I got the white one.A sharp looking guitar, white is really nice. Great all I did was put new strings on it 10's and it holds tune well. This is a playable guitar out of the box.You do need to change the strings first though. This guitar is so easy and fun to play.Neck is so comforable I'm an adult with amaller hands and this giutar it a godsend.I can finally play a guitar and love it.

The product seems to be pretty dependable. I'm not hard on my guitar, but I don't baby it either and it's still like new almost two years later. Nothing has broken on it, and it seems to be in good condtion still. Your general opinion of this product. Frets are pretty easy to reach, but the sound is pretty muddy out of a small amp. The neck is not as thin as I would like, but for a cheap guitar I suppose it is fast enough. The controls are easy to get to but sometimes they get in the way when strumming. The tone is definetely dark good for drop tunings and dark metal, but the tone is also muddy and hard to hear the pitch clearly. I got the blue one and it is a pretty guitar. A little high, but had it lowered. I still get a lot of fret buzz though.

Ibanez made an excellent guitar here, proving not everything made in China is of poor quality. I haven't had it that long, but from what I have heard from others it's very good longtime. Your general opinion of this product. I bought this item in order to get a cheap yet reliable electric guitar. The name Ibanez had been floating around in my head for a while, their guitars being used by such giants as Steve Vai of Frank Zappa and Victor Borge of TNT. Therefore I was extremely comfortable with this brand. When I tried out the guitar, it played excellently and I couldn't resist trying out all the different pickup and tone settings...speaking of which... The guitar is very playable, but the last two frets are extremely hard to play The guitar is extremely good looking, very shiny and showy. The sharkteeth fret inlay looks very sharp. The guitar has a bright tone even unamplified, and is mostly easy to play.

Seems to be well made and is very sharp looking Just received so I hope it will last through a few beginners Your general opinion of this product. A very nice beginners guitar, bought to teach 7 and 8 year old's on and should do the job fine. Could have used a better set if inline tuners but I guess I'm used to Martin and Grover's 18/1 so I'm spoiled. Might just change out the tuners to Grover mini's and be done with constant tuning, otherwise its a nice little axe Well balanced for younger players and the neck was good for a short scale, 3 position switch and volume and tone all work well , can get some nice sounds. I needed to file the frets down were very sharp Bright As stated has a nice finish Action was a little high but easily corrected

It's build solidly, but the finish could be a little better. The inlays had excess glue around them. There were a few other little things. I've had it about two weeks, so we shall see. I'd hope it's tough because I haven't found a hard case for it. Your general opinion of this product. I bought this guitar because I'm limited on space when I travel. I am really amazed with how it sounds. It's worth every penny. It's not too small though. I'm 5'10" and don't feel like I'm playing a toy. It's nice and light. It's got a fast neck. It's got 24 frets so they get a bit tight up high. It would be perfect for child. Nice crunch. Got clean sound. Low E buzzes very noticeably. I think some thinker strings on the bottom should fix that. Paint is good. I got the white one. It needs a set up and new strings. I expected that.

It seems pretty well made. The tuners could be better, but for the money, it's a good guitar. Just got it, so I'll have to write another review later on. I own a lot of Ibanez guitars, and they've all been reliable, so I don't have any fears with this one. Your general opinion of this product. It's a good guitar. I bought it to take with me on road trips. I travel a lot, so having something compact makes life a lot easier. Action is great. The volume knob is a little hard to turn, but it will probably loosen up with time. Tone is fine for the pickups. They're not the greatest, but I'm not recording an album, or playing a live show with this, so they fit the bill. Perfect.

Really suprised at how well built this baby is. The pick ups are really very good. I just got it as a gift for my godson who is 6 yrs old, I'm sure it can take anything he throws at it. Your general opinion of this product. I am really so impressed my the Ibanez Mikro I now want one for myself. Been looking all night online for a left handed version. Sorry to say none to be found. Play great and feels wonderful. Pick Ups are real hot. You can get any sound you want from this baby. Finish is nice......I'm amazed by this guitar. Everything about it. Just wish they came in left handed model for myself. Perfect action right out of the box. Oh BTW... I bought this item "blemished". I have no idea what or where the blemish is. I have to say I am just as impressed with AMS service as I am With the Ibanez Mikro. AMS got my item to me super fast,it went out Monday I received it Tuesday. AMS ROCKS! Just wish hey sold more left handed guitars. I'd always buy wih them.

QUALITY:
Very well made, way better than other guitars that cost two or three times more

FEATURES:
The guitar came with an instrument cable and some Ibanez picks

EASE OF USE:
It is amazing how fast I can play up and down the neck, no sharp frets or anything like that

VALUE:
It was worth the money that I payed for it($130). I probably would pay $100 more for it

SOUND:
Sounds awesome! The bridge pickup sounds really good when you have a lot of distortion on your amp, great for heavy metal

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Great quality for the price. I have owned 4 different travel guitars and this by far my favoirte electric version. This is without a doubt the best guitar for the price. The tuners could be a little better quality but like I said for the price you just can't beat it. I have been playing this guitar now for 3 months and love it.

FEATURES:
This guitar will stay in tune as you play up the neck, finish is very good, neck feels really nice although I am an adult I have short fingers and the size of the neck and closer frets really are a big plus for me. The pickups have quality big guitar sound. I often play standing for hours at a time and have back problems so the super light weight of this ax is one feature that really sold me. A whammy bar would of been a plus. I do have to re-tune it more often than I would like. On my last se of strings I added graphite to the bridge and nut and hope that will help.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
This is great Ibanez quality. With a lot of minis out there you don't get that quality that you get with a full size guitar but this Ibanez has full size quality! Just like my RG550 & RG470 with 24 frets!

FEATURES:
Features are what you'd expect from Ibanez. I give it only a four because I wish it had a mini locking trem!

EASE OF USE:
Out of the box, easy to play.

VALUE:
For the price this is definitely well worth it. I have owned a Squier mini, a Hohner travel, a les paul pee wee, and a traveller. This is by far my favorite of the bunch.

SOUND:
I was really surprised by the sound! I was expecting that cheesey sound like most minis have that lets you know that it's not a full size guitar. But this Ibanez rocks! You can't help but jam on this thing and keep soloing. Sweet! But watch out for those tiny frets!

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
This guitar really isn't a toy. I'm amazed at the quality workmanship on such a cheap guitar. Everything seems to be right on! I had the fret ends dressed to remove their roughness, caused by the fretboard shrinking after production, but the store I bought it at did this for free.

FEATURES:
The 3/4 size of the guitar will be perfect for my 9 year old daughter. She plays my Soloist, but it's quite a stretch. The pickups and their volume/tone and selectors are all very smooth, and function well. The string through body is a good feature. BTW, this guitar isn't really blue. It's purple, or like a midnight blue/purple. Every online pic shows it as blue...? The only thing I dislike are the string T's on the headstock. I never liked them on any guitar. They don't seem to pose a problem at the moment, but I just worry that they could cause tuning issues. Perhaps keeping them lubricated with graphite (No. 2 pencil) will prevent any pro

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
The one thing I had to do when I got the guitar was dress the fret ends, they were pretty rough on the edges. With that done, its great. Everything about it says well made. Everything works well and tightly crafted.

FEATURES:
I bought this for my son. He's 11yrs old and 4'7" and still has small hands, couldn't handle a full size guitar, but this is a perfect size and weight. He wishes it had a wammy bar.

EASE OF USE:
Plays very easily, fast action, neck is smooth and straight.

VALUE:
Can't beat it.

SOUND:
May decide to eventually upgrade the bridge pickup. Play it through a Behringer 212 V-Tone and it excellent sound range!
