Product Rating Product Review So these guitars are great but... they absolutely need a setup. The action was really high, and it turns out the term mounting plate was screwed all the way in. You will need some extra term springs (I put 5 in, instead of the standard 3 it comes with)... and then adjust. Once I was done it was great. The pickups are awesome and like another reviewer had said one of the clearest 7 strings I have heard. Usually, the sound gets really muddy, not this one. Obviously this is a massive djent guitar but it's very versatile, which is why I love it. The jatoba fingerboard feels great, and the neck is smooth and fast. It's a more of the flatter side as far as the radius is concerned (16"), but it fits my playing style well. The look is a little understated but I think it's great. I'd like to see more options in future but the maple top is really nice.

Product Review I HATE tremolos but once it’s balanced it’s so fun and you can just riff away. I decided to jump from LPs to shredders cause the necks are faster. I compared it to my detuned LP which has tone for days and it’s right there with it. Kudos to Jake and Ibanez I think I’ll get a trem locker so I can have options to drop tune easily and turn the trem back on when I want. If you don’t have the change then save up and get a model like this. Don’t cheap out and potentially be disappointed. IT DOES DJENT!!!

Product Review This guitars Dynamics are so insane! The lows sound crisp and refined, the highs have a warm sense of clarity all on a fat fretboard you will get lost in. And that's a good thing. I have been playing Periphery to Polyphia with just a pickup position change. Double locking tuners with a whammy? Like what? Jake Bowen knows what he wants and Ibanez got this 100%

Product Review The bulk of the 7’s I’ve tested using Drop G tuning were just too muddy to really be of any real use but the JBM27 screams with deep lows and tight attack. This is a solidly built guitar with great sound and lightening fast playability. Highly recommend.
