This was a big but wonderful surprise when I first wrapped my hands around the neck. The neck is a large full C profile and the ebony fingerboard is slick and dark. The workmanship and the satin finish was flawless and felt great. The Super 58 pickups are low output but sound great and work perfectly for what the guitar is going for. The only things I would change about the guitar are the frets which feel a little small with the size of the neck but work fine and I never like those quick change tailpieces. Overall great guitar I'd recommend to anybody.

Ibanez has quietly been constructing the best ES inspired guitars in the business for the last few years and this is without a doubt the best I’ve experienced yet. The satin finish on the whole guitar means it not only looks awesome, it feels awesome, and the sound that comes out of this thing matches the awesome aesthetics thanks to this great Ibanez Super 58 pickups. Highly recommended as a jazz box, but this would probably make for a great rock machine as well. Highly recommended.
