I have never been a molded case fan. I always preferred wooden cases. I needed this case and ordered it so I wouldn’t damage it in transport. Love the locks and the case overall is very high quality. Much better than some cases I have ordered from other manufacturers. My only complaint is the seal on the case. Internally you have all the little pockets to put strings, tools etc. There is a small one that is perfect to throw some picks in. Every time I open up the picks are everywhere. Now I just keep them in a bag. Other than that great case!

Fits my 7-string Ibanez like a glove (almost like it was made for it...) and the construction is top notch! Don't cheap out if you have an RG7 or other sweet Ibanez axe. Also, AMS was the ONLY place that had one in stock, literally everywhere else was going to take over a month to special order it.

Great current production hard case. Very similar to the standard Ibanez Prestige hard cases, but with better latches, and better rubber feet. The M300C fits the standard RG body shape wonderfully and securely.
If I had to critique any feature, it would be the lack of an internal, closable storage space. The open storage spaces do hold items in place, once the case is closed.
My Prestige guitars now live in M300C cases, and my original Prestige cases hold some Indonesian models. That's how much I like them.

I have many Ibanez RGs and some of them are a little different in size. Not all RG guitars are the same. I have tried this case with all and it does fit them, but some fit better than others. This Ibanez case is ok but the lid on mine doesn't close tightly and you have to push down to get it to close so you can latch it. Over time your RG will mold better, so the fit might be tight at first. I have an older Ibanez 100 case I prefer to this one. Also, mine has a weird smell that I am hoping will go away. For the price I expected better and probably will go with the Ibanez 500 case next, or a SKB.

As this is the Ibanez-recommended case for my S670, it fits quite well, has extra storage space and seems more than sturdy enough. I do like the offset handle so that it balances when when it's loaded up.

rg550 fits like a glove. The case is tough and attractive. Locks are sturdy tsa locks very nice compared to the flip locks im used to. A+ case for an A+ guitar.

nice case comes with keys ,locks are pretty decent,love the inside and my Rg was like the missing puzzle piece..the one turn off i have is that needs lids for the compartments,also the case came with a satchel around it..yet the guitar just comes in a cardboard box...please do something better than this...

This is a beautifully made Ibanez guitar case that I would recommend for anyone that invests in a quality Ibanez guitar. I never have to worry about my guitar being damaged with this case. the first day I received this case, I dropped it down an entire flight of concrete stairs with my ibazez guitar in it. My guitar was not damaged at all and actually was still in tune. Excellent guitar case. Definitely recommended!

What can I say here? It’s well built, fits just about all Ibanez 6-7 strong guitars snuggly, looks plush on the inside and, most importantly, protects your investment! Oh, and the improved latches are a plus! Definitely prefer these style cases over tweed cases, being a working musician!

I bought this guitar for the JEM77P and it fits like a glove. Very Rugged and durable on the outside, velvet lined and snug on the inside. Very reasonably priced so the you can protect you 6 string investment.

Same m300c on the inside. Will fit All access neck joint prestige era RG style guitars, and will also fit the square-tilt neck joint Genesis style RG guitars, as well. Updated latches are made of plastic, but feature a new spring latch, that cannot easily be accidentally caught on cargo pants, and flipped open. New shell mold to look more carbon fiber texture, same plastic shell material.

You've spent the money making an investment of an Ibanez guitar or bass. Why trust fate to keep it safe in that gig bag? These newly designed cases go even further to protect that investment. Still form fitted inside with deep plushl lining plus the newly designed outer shell. They can protect against high impact that always happen now and again. So protect that investment with a high quality case. Learn from my mistake, my Ibanez RG 1570 damaged in transit was enough for me to become a believer $1,400.00 destroyed for lack of an Ibanez Case.

Its a knockoff. Probably China or Indonesian made. Its nice and will work, but not as good of a custom fit as the ones that come with the Japanese models. I bought this because disappointingly, the new RG550's dont come with a case like all the other Japanese models. Its a nice case, but not as well built as the cases that come with all the other Japanese models!
