I've been on a bit of a rampage collecting what I consider to be all of the classic guitars that I've always wanted. I bought this one simply because Paul Stanley planted the flag on this model. I did not expect it to become one of my favorites, but it is so comfortable and plays like silk. The abalone inlays and binding are just beautiful, the tone is magnificent, and the fretboard is smooth as cream. Highly recommended!

I have owned the new PS 10 and now the PS 120. I have to tell you the build quality for the PS 120 is a ton better and sounds just as good as the PS 10. True story! The only true difference is the wood and the tuners. Now the PS 10 has the same bridge. Save the money and get the PS 120. You’ll thank me later.

My dad growing up was a huge kiss fan. And ever since he saw paul stanley play an iceman, he has always wanted one. For his senior project, he made an exact replica of the iceman body out of clay and was graded an A. 40 years later, his dream came true.
The ps120 is a true work of art. A very beautiful guitar with no flaws. Right out of the box, she plays and sounds like a dream.

Have always wanted one- even though it will be little more of a occasional player as it doesnt suit the style of music I play.
Good points- fretwork is well polished and finished-no high frets or sharp ends. Tuners while unbranded hold tune well. Nut seems questionable but no sticking or pinging and is well cut. Paint and binding is pretty much perfect-looks killer! Pickups are great-interesting voicing on the custom 5-almost like having two rythmn voiced pups-in a good way. Singing sustain for leads.
The bad- knobs forced on so tight that the pots could barely turn-even pro grade tools stew mac tools could not get between knob and finish. The plastic trim parts- tailpiece and pickguard are really cheap-look great- but wort stand up to use. Neck is great- action good- but still feels stiff-even with 9s- some guitars are just like that.
Overall- I love the guitar and AMS! I think for the price point it should have been better out of the box-and am glad I am not some kid, or someone that was wanting this as his first good guitar that was sweat to pay for. My overall impression is that if they would have taken the couple hundred bucks they gave PS and put it into the guitar-it may have been in the league of a PRS SE - but as is we are paying a price for a signature model.

Excellent guitar, the neck is smooth. Plugged it in to my Marshall and blasted away on some vintage KISS tunes. Whether you are Paul Stanley fan or not, this guitar is a instant classic.

Well built guitar. The neck is comfortable and did not require any work out of the box. The stings are very well balanced. The pickups are also well balanced across all three positions. The guitar sounds great through a variety of amps and pedals. This guitar crunches very well. In addition, leads are very articulate.

This Guitar looks and sounds fantastic, the only thing I can find wrong is the placement of the strap holders they make the guitar somewhat unbalanced but other than that Its a great guitar

I own and play this guitar. I own jcraft prestige and this guitar plays as good or better than a RG1550M the only difference between the PS10 and ps120 is the price. You can get a case from Ibanez for the 120 that fits like a glove. If you can live with China versus Japan save yourself a couple of Grand.
