I can’t say enough good about this amazing guitar. It came perfectly setup out of the box. The action and neck are such that this baby practically plays itself. The pickups are great sounding and capable of literally screaming with well rounded highs and amazing lows. I sincerely and highly recommend this amazing guitar as it’s priced right too. It comes equipped with a tried and true Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System (which I’ve always liked) and it stays in tune no matter how much play you give the whammy bar. All in all, this baby is on point and is a serious metal monster of a guitar. Fast, sleek and the finish & paint job are on point. Simply awesome and amazing! I can honestly say I love this beautiful guitar. It’s truly a dream to own and play. Thank you Ibanez. You have proved once again that you can’t be outdone.

Opening direct out of the box, you always wonder for any defects etc. I have yet to have a bad experience with AMS or Ibanez! Quality runs in the veins of these companies!!!! Smooth neck, great finish! And a tone that squeals! Total shred machine! But that’s the versatility of Ibanez, just playing some jazz tunes to backup music, it’s just so versatile!

Ibanez makes great guitars for everyone on a budget. They play exceptional.and sound good rather in a small club or in a big arena. And give all who plays the rocker look and sound professional. Hands down ibanez is my only choice since 1998. I own 4 now and will always be an ibanez inthousios.

This guitar more than exceeded my expectations. It was set up perfectly right out of the box (I didn't even have to tune it). I am 62 years old and very jaded. I fan of Classic Rock and Blues. I have played Stats and Pauls all my life. Since the Pandemic I was getting more into 80's and 90's rock. I never had a guitar with a Floyd style so I thought I would take a chance on this inexpensive Ibanez with Floyd style trem. I was blown away. Especially since this is made in Indonesia. Before I started playing it I thought: Great Indonesia junk. But, boy was I wrong. The Quantum pickups are almost as good as the PAF Pro and Fred in my Paul guitar! No kidding. This will be my main guitar going forward. I am even going to buy another one so that I can have two on stage.

Absolutely gorgeous guitar with a great sound! Pictures don't do it justice. Metallic look is far more beautiful than the photo shows. Sound is full and not the least bit "tinny" as some guitars of this value can sometimes be. Affordable, beautiful and great to play. Couldn't ask for more. The payment plan is soooo helpful when you're living hand to mouth. Thank you AMS and Ibanez for a fantastic product and a very happy gifting experience.

Its almost perfect for the price, found a small rough patch on the neck. Steel wool took care of that. Reminds me of metal guitars from the 80's, the finish is perfect, plays really well needed a setup though, easy enough. For what I needed it for its just great. The pickups are good for me, your milage may very. I'd buy another no problems.

This is my first guitar and not only is the color absolutely stunning, but it sounds awesome and it feels amazing in my hands. I would definitely recommend this guitar to a beginner like myself, or to someone who already knows how to play.

First off, I have been playing for around 32 years, so I'm not a beginner. I have played in local bands doing bars and clubs for several years and have owned many guitars over the years, mostly Telecasters and Les Pauls. I play many styles of music and have always wanted a guitar that could cover them all, and since I'm getting older and starting to have trouble with my hands I started looking into some more modern styled guitars. So after doing some shopping around I decided to give the RG470 a try. I now wish that I had done it a long time ago. I know that they are supposed to be geared toward metal/shred styled music, but these things can absolutely cover just about any thing. The Quantum pickups sound great, and they have the most comfortable neck and play easier than any guitar I have owned. However, some set up work was necessary, but after, they are great. Buy one you won't be disappointed !

This is a good deal! A very sweet guitar,
I bought for myself and I really didn't expect what I got, had it in my hands one day, and I'm so impressed by its performance, I can't put it down , I can't sleep so far, and I am addicted to it!
Every year I buy a few guitars, I've got 60+, of You Name it!
This guitar is, I believe, the perfect blend, and I've been playing with guitars along time. This lil Cheapo DOES IT ALL!
I got it , removed it from box (this guitar should come with case) and tuned it, I usually set them to my specs , but all this one needed were two things when I got it 1) brief tune up, without unlocking , and using fine tuners went quickly to 440 and started playing, very fast, comfortable, easy to play and a pleasure!
The pickups were the biggest and best surprise, this guitar has QUANTUM pickups, these are as good , as the J90c of say Jackson, Metal YES! BLUES YES! everything else and in between, YES! Sorry I can't put down more! BUY IT!

I've been a fan of the Ibanez RG series for 20+ years now. This RG470 is a prime example of why Ibanez has been so popular in the rock music industry.
The wizard 3 neck with maple fretboard, is one of the quickest necks I've ever played. The neck is really thin, which improves the movement speed on your hand. This is really essential when playing solos which incorporate 64th notes.
What really surprised me about this guitar, is that it holds it's sustain really well for a bolt-on neck model. I feel this is due to the maple body, giving it that rich, middle tone that metal/hard rock guitarists so desperately seek.
The locking tremolo system kept the guitar in tune adequately, but definitely not perfectly. A little tweeking with it was needed to achieve better results. But still a very decent tremolo.
The pickups, while not the greatest I've used,are not bad either. I was able to achieve fairly good pinch harmonics with them, proving that they have some punch. But you may find yo

The picture of this guitar does not do justice to this guitar. Once you have it in your hands, the guitar is gorgeous. The neck is a little bit thick, but I can manage. Great guitar. I love it.
