Product Rating Product Review Pickups are super hot, wide degree of tones can be produced with them. The one I received is quite twangy and I really like that for bringing out the lower end. The quality of the neck alone made this buy worth it for me, but the fretboards do come covered in dust and dry of oil. A little bit of F-one oil took the dingy, dirty look away and left me with a deep rich tone and a nice smooth satin feeling finish. Guitar was free of any scratches.

Product Review The guitar came well set up. Action and relief were good. Pickup height was good. The tuners are high ratio and hold the tuning well. The pickups sound nice and are medium-high output. The pickup switching options (5-way) are well thought out and provide great versatility. The neck is superbly comfortable for an 8 string. Thin with a fairly flat back profile.

Product Review A very neck heavy guitar, you will fight the neck dive if your playing live. But other than that the guitar is very comfortable to play. The build quality was good. no sharp edges on the frets. nice thin neck made it easy to get to all the notes on the fret board. The sting action was set up good, I didn't find any fret buzzing. Just nice and easy to play. From palm muting to bends and harmonic it performs great.

Product Review Bought this guitar as an inexpensive way to see if both 8 string and multiscale guitars had a place in my arsenal. Still getting used to both but I think it’s serving the purpose I hoped. Build quality is really not bad at all, it’s relatively comfortable to play and doesn’t sound bad. A pickup upgrade wouldn’t hurt but all in all I’m happy with the guitar and the service I received from American Musical Supply
