It came set up 9/1 out of the box, lowered the action just a tiny bit and was shredding.
I love this thing! Going from cheaper guitar to this one, and I feel as though my playing ability increased. I am not saying the guitar made me better but just that the ease of playing this guitar removed barriers I didnt even notice till they were gone.
I had another great ibanez in the orice range but I had to ditch the tremolo. Hard tail with these pickups is fantastic.
I bought this one because it is black, rather than spending more for a higher end model. After playing it a few weeks I have no regrets. Plain dot inlays some people might wanna pay more for something fancier looking, but i love this one.

First off, this guitar plays like butter right out of the box. The neck is insanely thin, so if that's what you're looking for then prestige is for you. The included case is very nice and extremely satisfying to look at.
Let's address the main issue: for 200 dollars more you could get another prestige with the same neck profile that has Fishman Fluence pickups instead of the OEM pickups AND stainless steel frets. This guitar should not be 1500 dollars.
I purchased this instrument as my very first prestige and while I was blown away by the build quality, the value is really just not here with this model. While I don't recommend this model, I do still highly recommend prestige grade guitars.

I have several guitars, this is by far my favourite. Setup was fine right out of the case, I normally have to do the setup myself. My lightest guitar too. Definitely a big fan of the finish super easy to keep clean. Eay to go Ibanez!!!

My first Prestige model, my first Ash body guitar also. So far, I love it! The Wizard HP neck is flawless, the Ebony board plays like warm butter, it resonates better than anything I've played. And that says alot because all my other guitars are neck through, or set neck, mahogany bodied. And it's the lightest guitar I've played. Way lighter than my other RG's. Definitely recommend this Ibanez. Suits all music types from jazz and blues, to the heaviest of metal. This thing slays!!

I bought this guitar because I needed a hard tail. I didn't expect too much but man it’s fast. It’s a guitar that’s hard to put down. The Super Wizard HP neck is amazing!! Well worth the money!

I love Ibanez and love their Iron Label series but this thing just takes the cake. The neck on it alone is worth the price and its the smoothest guitar I have ever played. Craftsmanship is perfect and I feel like I am playing a much more expensive instrument. And the pickups on top of that match this guitar perfectly. I thought I would have to swap them out but they are a unbeatable match. Thank you AMS for making this possible!

Love this guitar. Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it but it plays like a dream. Guitar is super light and the neck is buttery smooth. The quality from the Prestige line on this model is amazing. I look forward to my next Prestige purchase!

All out great guitar!! Pickups are versatile but really shred in the metal department! Finish looks way better in person! Love the body and neck binding with the white pickups makes it really pop! Shipped fast!
