This bass exceeded my expectations! I already own other Ibanez basses and I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed, but this one blew my mind, due to the low price; the combination of tones you can get is incredible! Highly recommended!

Ibanez never lets me down! Great bass for the price! If your shopping for a good 6er but don’t wanna drain your bank account, this is it! Nice low action on a super thin, and fast neck. The stock preamp isn’t bad either. Lots of tonal options as well. The open pore finish is a great touch. Wonderful instrument!

Solid entry level 6 string. B string can hit the top of the neck pickup if you have the action low and the pickup high, and play aggressively.
Pickups sound really good for stock, and hit pretty much any sound you need.
I would definitely recommend this bass, for getting into extended range playing and such a low price.

This is a great bass for all levels. Ibanez basses are all great instruments. A purchase more than worth the money, including the 306E. I have gigged with the bass multiple times. Very impressed with the tone and versatility of the bass. The width of the neck is great. The bass overall is very easy to play. Well worth the money.

I personally think "AMS" is God's gift to Musicians. I've been a starving musician for more than 50 yrs.So I know the spoils of it! AMS has helped countless musicians all over the world to obtain Pro Gear with their purchasing plans! I've been purchasing equip. from them for three years. Guitar,Keyboard, Bass guitar and misc. cords and accessories. My most recent purchase was a Soundgear Ibanez 6 string bass' which I love. It has a slim neck not to wide for 6 strings! ,perfect sounding pickups'and great individual separation,reinforced tuning pegs,and w/low "B" and hi "C" strings make chords sound low,sweet, and effective! I've purchased two 6 strg. basses from AMS! Great bass. I got my 1st.bass from AMS two years ago, I just got my new bass in Mar.2019. My new bass is all I expected it to be,as was every piece of equip. I ordered from AMA !!!

I’m a pro bassist and have sworn by Warwick for the past 15 years....but I started with Ibanez and for the price I figured it was time to give it another go. Unbelievable tone! It’s also super light, and has that sleek Ibanez/SGR neck. I thought this would be my backup, but it’s quickly jumped to the head of the line! I recommend this bass to ANYONE looking for an affordable 6 string that offers all the amenities of a bass twice it’s price. Stays in tune, light, sleek, good looking, and tone for days. Buy it. You will not be sorry ??????

I've played 4 & 5 strings for 25 years and bought this one to introduce myself to the 6 string. Absolutely love it! Ibanez slim body style and light weight make it easy to adjust to the slightly bigger neck for the 6 string and the neck itself is thin so you're not killing your hands when running the fretboard. Would definitely recommend this for anyone just getting into the market for a 6 string and not wanting to break the bank.

I've been a fan and player of Ibanez products for 25 years now, and have owned numerous guitars, basses, and effects by them over the years. The last bass I owned from them was an early 2000's 4-string SoundGear bass. My main bass of late has been another brand's 6-string, but I've found the neck to be difficult to play at times. Saw some reviews of the new SR basses coming this year to Ibanez's lineup and decided to pull the trigger on a replacement 6-string.
I am floored by the playability of this bass and am simply amazed at the variety of tones I'm getting out of this thing. I've gotten everything from very clean and bright to a growl-y overdriven punch with ease.
The biggest thing I love about this bass is the neck. It feels like home. There's been some John Myung lines that have eluded me for quite some time on my old 6-string that just fell into place on this bass, it plays so comfortably and effortlessly.
If you're on the fence, then take the leap and buy this bass.

Great tone and sustain for such a light 6 string. The shallow neck makes it easy to run all over the fret board and make use of all the extended range of this excellently crafted bass. Highly recommend.
