The SR400EQM bass has more tonal possibilities than most basses of similar price. 3 band eq on the guitar along with the tap toggle and blend pot make for a huge variety of sounds. The quilted maple top is beautiful. After a few minor tweaks of the truss rod it was ready to rock. It's a very resonant guitar. Unplugged its actually pretty loud. The payment plan thru AMS makes owning sweet instruments much less painful. This is my second purchase on payments and there will be more in my future.

This bass is everything I had hoped with a very reasonable price tag. It plays great and the various sound shaping options that come built-in to the guitar are fantastic. The color and finish are top-notch and it plays like a dream. Highly recommend!

I've always been a huge fan of Ibanez instruments. This one is no different. It has that trademark thinfast neck that I absolutely love so much. It reminds me of my OG rg550. The sound is really good and I dig the EQ system. Great Bass for all types of music
